Beautiful location and beach vibe. Music a hair too loud for my taste but a fun setting. Food well presented and pretty. Drinks were good. Service ok. Our first waitress was delightful. Not sure what happened to her but she disappeared and we had someone new who wasn’t great. We had an item we ordered not show up, which was fine in the end, but inquired what happened and it wasn’t on our order- no big deal. The 2nd waitress seemed annoyed we even asked. We were offered bread, given 3 small rolls, which were marginal and then charged $9 for them. Food was good, my quinoa salad with prawns was very fresh but lacked flavor overall, and no salt on the table, but there was pepper. Where it all went wrong for us was when the table next to us started smoking, including a cigar. We immediately asked for the check/ 2 or 3 times and it wasn’t never brought. I ended up walking up to the bar after waiting 10 mins and asked for the check to be brought. Still, no check 5 minutes later. Had to ask 2 more servers and finally our latest waitress brought it. Disappointing...

Possibly the worse dinning experience in my 25 years living on the coast..... Friends invited us who had previously eaten during the daytime and where reasonably happy.

This was there first evening visit.. The restaraunt was cold when I asked about heating I was told there wasn't any.

Considering the prices the food was not of an acceptable standard.. started with Piru Puri prawns...over cooked and not enough

Main course fillet steak..not cooked medium rare as I asked.. chips uncooked and cold..only acompliment baby green peppers.

Three of us had steak.. problems with everyone and no consistency in size..mine in particular was extremely small.

The pepper sauce that was ordered didn't arrive...they had forgotten to tell the chef,. It did come to the table...10minutes later.

The waiting staff where friendly an polite but I doubt trained for this job.

Definitely won't be back..even with an invite...

We had an incredible experience at Moosa Bay—a sleek, brand-new beachfront haven in Marbella! The space is spotless, modern, and thoughtfully designed. The food was fantastic—don’t miss the melt-in-your-mouth sea bass or the zesty tuna tartare!

The €30 beach bed rental is a steal—it includes a rejuvenating smoothie shot, free still/sparkling water, and a soft beach towel. Bonus: Moosa Bay is wonderfully child-friendly (our little ones loved the laid-back vibe) and even welcomes pets! A rare find for families and fur-parents alike!

Service was attentive and warm, and the staff went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The only hiccup was occasional strong winds, but that’s just nature’s doing.

Overall, Moosa Bay ticks all the boxes—great food, pristine facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere for all. We’ll definitely be back!...

Fantastic beach club. We tried Moosa Bay for the first time this year, as we would normally go to Casanis or Mistral, but Moosa Bay is really something unique. The staff is super friendly (they remembered the name of our baby when we went for the second day!), the food is insanely good and the way it has been decorated and styled feels very premium, without being over the top. I like that the audience at Moosa Bay is also very relaxed, no arrogant Nikki beach type of crowd, just people who wants to enjoy a nice day at a beautiful beach club. We went all out with lunch, drinks so hence why I said we paid €100+ but I think the prices are very fair. We paid €35 for a bed (also really fair), I hope they won't increase the prices like Casanis did, where you pay €100 for a bed. This is the #1 spot in Marbella for us. Also, small bonus for the owner being Dutch like myself ;-). Dankjewel!

The setting was beautiful. Unfortunately the food and service made it an unenjoyable evening for us. After seeing my Argentinian fillet (38 eur) back as was completely grey when ordered medium rare it took a good 20mins for another steak which was this time completely blood red and rare. The waiter was not friendly at all, even automatically charging me in GBP when asked for EUR (now costs me a £25 FX charge and poor rate). The original table on the front of the terrace by the sea had a beautiful view but was covered in flying ants so we moved a little bit inside. It’s a shame as we’ve been to Luuma (who own Moosa) many times and had excellent service and food. I’m sure they can get it right here just needs some attention to customers, up their game on the food and the precision on service.

We probably had one of the best days of our holiday at Moosa Bay! It’s a wonderful beach restaurant with sunbeds and a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. We booked our sunbeds in advance via WhatsApp, which was quick and easy. The place is tucked away between some houses. Parking is limited, but you can usually find a spot nearby. The sunbeds are extremely comfortable, and towels and water are included in the price. The beach is set apart from the busier public areas, so it’s beautifully quiet and peaceful. The food was fantastic: we had the tapas platter and the sweet potato fries, both absolutely delicious. Service was also excellent. A truly great spot to relax and enjoy. We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area!
