Pizzeria Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Mataró

This by far has to be the worst Italian Restaurant in Mataro. Not only is the food bad but so is the service. We ordered 4 pizzas, 2 salads, and Cava sangria. When they brought the Cesar and Caprese salads I reached for a salt shaker which was not only dirty on the outside, but also had a hair stuck on it like glue because they obviously do not clean the condiment bottles on the table regularly as they are filthy on the outside. When we asked to please be given a clean salt shaker without hair the waitress smiled and swapped it for another one on the table behind us, she then proceeded to share the request made with another waiter as they laughed about the request. As for the food the Cesar salad was dry and did not have adequate dressing or the correct lettuce. The Carprese salad had room temperature Búfala cheese and regular flavourless low grade tomatoes. The four pizzas were tasteless and the ham used cut in big thick chunks and all the meat toppings were cold. Not only were the topping cold, a short black hair was found inside one of the pizzas. When we nicely brought it to their attention the reaction was “oh well”, no sorry or anything like that, the only thing he did say was that it was possible we put the hair in it! As for the sangria it was horrible it tasted like cough syrup. I will say the only positive thing was that we were not charged for the pizza with a hair in it. The overall experience was bad really bad food and horrible service!Do not waste your money there.! Instead you are better off eating at Dominos at least it is cheaper and tastes better and they...

Unfortunately I will just give this place 1 star! The patatas bravas to share, that you see in the picture, was the only thing me and my husband could have for dinner there 😒 We ordered spaghetti with seafood sauce as well (but as I was really hungry unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of it). We only ate the seafood in the pasta and let the pasta there in the plate because it was too cooked and without any taste (it was that boiled that seemed like a mashed potatoes texture in your mouth).... This place is nice just for the view.... Pay attention: High prices and Russian waitress with a kind of arrogant attitude that makes you feel really uncomfortable and not welcomed in that place. Note - while we were waiting for the spaghetti I noticed that the pizzas are really thin and with burned crust so....it's up to you guys what you wanna do and if you like to throw away...

Hacía tiempo que quería probar este restaurante y ha sido una decepción total. La comida es normalita, el menú del día de 14,95 € tiene mucha oferta y eso lo hace apetecible para mucha gente aunque la calidad es muy baja: ensalada de bolsa barata sin aliñar y pan de barra medio deshecho cuando te lo traen a la mesa (y eso que no eran ni las dos y media). A medio comer han cerrado media terraza "para saber hasta donde he limpiado" (literal-se lo ha dicho la "jefa" a la camarera, aún viendo lo incómodo que iba a resultar para las mesas colocadas allí cerca. No es muy agradable encontrarte de repente con una pared de toldo y pelos y polvo a la altura del plato donde comes, ya que no queda ni un centímetro entre la mesa y la pared esta que bajan para separar ambientes). Íbamos con mi madre que va en silla de ruedas y al ser los espacios estrechísimos (y habernos dado una mesa bastante incómoda-dentro están haciendo reformas y entonces todos a la terraza a pasar frío ya que está abierto el techo y pasa aire) ha sido todo un desafío maniobrar para salir. Pues bueno, el camarero joven estaba en la otra punta de la sala, mirándonos, así como otras camareras adentro (la pared es de cristal y veían la situación): todos sin moverse ni un centímetro para ayudarnos. Al punto de tener que mover yo sola con mi padre las "estufas" plantadas bien en medio del pasillo. La educación y empatía no se aprenden en el curso de preparación para camareros sino que se supone que una persona normal viendo esta situación viene y pregunta al cliente si te puede ayudar. Se ve que en la selección del personal han ahorrado tanto o más que en la elección de los ingredientes de sus platos. Una lástima, pero aunque la comida hubiera estado buena ya solo por el pasotismo y la falta de ganas de trabajar de su personal...
