Ánfora Restaurante — Restaurant in Mazarrón

Having previously owned and run my own restaurant for a couple of years, I completely understand the hard work and pressures of a busy restaurant and am sympathetic to delays and little mistakes that inadvertently occur. However one thing that is never, ever acceptable is to make your customers cry! And this is exactly what the miserable owner of this place did to my 8 year old! He shouted at him because there was sand where he was sitting and ordered him to go and wash his feet - it's a beach cafe ffs; of course there's going to be sand! And for the record he had used the beach tap outside but the sand came off his shorts. There are ways of dealing and approaching things - driving a child to tears is never one of them. Other customers had dropped food on the floor but he didn't say anything to them!

Completely ruined our meal (and my son's day). I should review the food (which actually was okay) but what's the point - I would never recommend this place just because of the owners disgusting attitude and lack of customer service. Ironically my 8 year old manners are a million times...

We wanted to try Tapas, but as a main meal, we explained what we would like and was assured that crochettes was what we wanted, they all had lovely descriptions, so we took the owners advice and ordered. The small plates came up with just a load of deep fried crochettes, straight out of the freezer, not Tapas, all tasting much the same, we could not make out what we were eating, plus there was nothing else to eat with it, not even bread, so we had to order a salad. The best bit was the salad, what a disappointment at such a high price. (Complete rip off) I'm sure the owner will dispute everything I have said, as he has done so in many previous reviews and blame...

No lo recomiendo en absoluto. No he recibido peor trato en un resturante "si se puede llamar así" en la vida. El dueño tiene muchos aires de grandeza, se piensa que por estar en la playa todo vale. Solo hay que ver las contestaciones que deja en las reseñas. Llegamos a cenar a las 22.40 con una mesa reservada a las 22.30, de primeras el trato fue nefasto, reclamando que la cocina ya estaba cerrada y no quería darnos de cenar por llegar 10 minutos tarde. Finalmente nos tomó nota de pié sin mirar la carta y posteriormente nos sentaron en la mesa. En ese momento casi nos marchamos, pero nos quedamos por miedo a no encontrar otra cosa (gran error). La cena de pelicula, unos "mejillones al vapor" se podría decir.. "mejillones del Mercadona recalentados" , una ensalada "iceberg" de lo más simple y una fritura que tendría que darle vergüenza servir eso. Para rematar, a las 23 de la noche nos retiró los platos de la mesa sin preguntar y lo peor con la comida a medias. Vamos que prácticamente se llevo la fritura intacta. De postres ni hablamos, nos dieron la cuenta sin preguntar y con 3 mesas en la terraza, cerro el bar y nos dejaron sentados sin atención ninguna, vamos, ni opción de ir al baño. En resumen, 60 euros tirados a la basura. No somos de quejarnos, con no regresar es suficiente, pero lo de este señor no...
