Erwartungsvoll wollten wir uns hier verwöhnen lassen. Ein junger Kellner sprach nur spanisch jedoch konnten wir uns gut verständigen. Wir entschuldigten uns deutsch zu sprechen und kein Spanisch. 90% der Gäste sprach spanisch und wurde sehr fürsorglich behandelt. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr gut. Die Hauptsache jedoch eine graußliche Geschmacklosigkeit. Die kleinen Fische schmeckten bitter. Einer der großen hatte noch Innereien in sich und war blutig. Ich bat meinem Mann dies zu sagen jedoch verzichtete er darauf. Außerdem warteten wir ungewöhnlich lange bis unser Geschirr abserviert wurde und dass auch noch in Etappen. Niemand fragte ob wir zufrieden waren. Niemand bot uns eine Desserts Karte an. Alle anderen wurden gefragt und umgehend Bestellungen serviert. Allmählich wurde ich zornig. Einer Tischnachbarin fiel dies auf und deutete Unverständnis dazu auf. Das Gerücht Spanier würden Ausländer oft sehr schlecht behandeln hat sich heute von uns bestätigt. Dies trifft jedoch nur hier zu. Woanders hatten wir sehr positive Erfahrungen. Somit kann ich dieses Lokal nur Spaniern empfehlen. Nie wieder tue ich mir so etwas an. We eagerly wanted to be pampered here. A young waiter only spoke Spanish but we were able to communicate well. We apologized for speaking German and not Spanish. 90% of the guests spoke Spanish and were treated very carefully. The starters were very good. The main thing, however, is a terrible lack of taste. The small fish tasted bitter. One of the large ones still had innards in it and was bloody. I asked my husband to tell me this but he refused. We also waited an unusually long time for our dishes to be collected, and that too in stages. Nobody asked if we were happy. Nobody offered us a dessert menu. Everyone else was asked and orders were served promptly. I gradually became angry. A neighbor at the table noticed this and expressed a lack of understanding. The rumor that Spaniards often treat foreigners very badly has been confirmed by us today. However, this only applies here. We had very positive experiences elsewhere. So I can only recommend this restaurant to Spaniards. I'll never do something like that to myself again.

Es la segunda vez que voy y se que iré muchas más. Le pongo cinco estrellas a todo menos al ambiente, que para nada es culpa del restaurante, porque la mesa de al lado era numerosa y hablaban todos en un tono de voz demasiado alto y a veces ni escuchaba a mi marido que lo tenía enfrente. Pero repito, eso no es cosa del restaurante. Lo que si es del restaurante es la atención de lujo por parte de todo el personal, el servicio exquisito y la comida ya.....bufffff. La primera vez disfrute de la cena pero hoy ha sido una experiencia gastronómica maravillosa. Pedimos croquetas de jamón y de gamba. Textura y sabor de 10000... Después almejas con falso boletus que nos sorprendió muy gratamente la mezcla y las almejas maravillosas. Un gajo con un calibre importante y frescas como ellas solas. La cecina de wayú no podía faltar, regada con aceite Oro de Bailén nada menos 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤 Y para terminar los entrantes caviar con blinis con mantequilla. Una delicia en el paladar, servido con exquisitez, de matrícula! Como plato fuerte una pluma ibérica para mí marido, que se deshacía en la boca de lo tierna que estaba, y rodaballo al jerez para mí, que repetía plato de la vez anterior de lo que me gustó, fresco, suave, con contrastes de sabor entre la dulzura del jerez y las pasas y el fresco sabor de los mejillones, las gambas, y como no, el rodaballo exquisito. Y ya de postre pan de calatrava y sorbete de limón. Ambos muy buenos. Salimos contentísimos de haber disfrutado saboreando cada bocado y pensando volver pronto. Un acierto y un disfrute para cualquiera y una recomendación fija para mis conocidos y para cualquiera que lea está reseña.

La Siesta is a very nice place located perfectly along the road in Bolnuevo, just next to the beach. The staff is nice and professional. For the first time this year, they offered a completely vegan menu. I've had the vegan paella and the vegan vegetable wok (wok de verduras). The wok was ok but definitely nothing more. Basically just a few veggies in oil. The paella though was amazing, so I highly recommend to choose it if you're going there! They also have some good wines.

We arrived without a reservation, a friendly waiter checked and could offer us table for three. Then we were served by 2 waitresses, who were not so friendly unfortunately. The 3rd plate and cutlery were just thrown on the table. When ordering, she didn’t ask how we like our meat, not asked if we would like some sauce, she couldn’t wait to leave the table. So had to ask for the sauce after ordering, an this was added to our order. When we received our food, the sauce was missing. It took a while before getting the waitresses attention. Then she noticed the sauce wasn’t there, so she went to get it. We were halfway our dinner. We asked for dessert, the 3 menu’s were handed over to my husband, again, couldn’t be quick enough. We noticed the same at the other tables. Luckily the food was good, but to have restaurant in a “higher” price range, I would think the service is...

Great location, you are literally on the beach and busy for a Monday lunchtime. The terrace is ideal for a relaxed lunch. The terrace is dog friendly, thank you. It is mainly for special occasions as the overall price paid is in the higher price bracket. The fish dishes, cod & turbot were really tasty and well priced but I felt €28 for beef stroganoff was a bit extortionate. My ternera nacional was excellent. The two guys on service that day were polite and well dressed but needed chasing up to bring extra dishes we ordered like Ailoli for the chipitos and our replacement white wine. The desserts let it down as several were pre packed and expensive. I am being harsher than normal due to the higher price being charged. Overall I believe the good outways the average and we will visit again but not as often as we would like, for the price band we can go to Murcia...

The food was amazing. We didn't book but there were plenty of tables. We were left with menus for about 40mins. When we did order the food came quickly and it was lovely. We had bread, cheese and pate starter with salad as a first course and to be honest that was really filling and so tasty. I love cheese so it wod have been nice to know what each one was but that is just because I am nosey. For a min I had pork in a pepper sauce. I have never had pork loin that tender. It literally melted in my mouth. 2 gin and tonics, two large starters with bread. One bottle of red, two mains one a very fresh tuna steak with sauce and veg , one about 12/14oz pork loin with chips(it seemed alot.) One espresso,one espresso with brandy. €70. In the UK for the quality you would be paying over £100 and you wouldn't get the people...
