Pekin 6 — Restaurant in Mazarrón

Where do I start? Well firstly before even talking about the food, I have never and I mean never been in a restaurant with staff who are so non-comminicative, a rare and occasional grunt at best was all I got. No smile, no greeting, not even when paying. It was like I was chore and an un necessary diversion to there otherwise busy schedule! Now the food, well I have eaten some really good chineese food in the past, fresh, nice flavours and nicely presented. Well here none of that was the case! Food was awful and just bland. Poorly presented and dumped on the table unceremoniously, without a word, and I don't buy the excuse about language, Spanish, English, or even Chineese would be nice! I will not go again, even if you paid me to!! I would not recommend this place even though it has been here for years..... or maybe because it has, it has become complacent and at best lazy, the public deserve better from...

Went here on Tuesday (November 2022) night, our last night on Camposol for this trip and due to the great meals we had last year thought why not. But what a different atmosphere, the waitress took our order and brought out Prawn crackers, which was like cardboard, no taste, then she started squealing at somebody in the kitchen, who started squealing back, this continued throughout the meal, all in Chinese, not sure which region, the rice was ok, chicken rubberey but the Duck was not good at all, well cooked, probably to well cooked the rind was so hard it was dangerous to your teeth, we paid up and left really...

Very disappointed with our take away, the quality of food has gone downhill rapidly over the past year, I got the beef, Green pepper in black bean sauce, there was more oil than sauce, when I got it home and opened the container the oil and so called sauce had separated and tasted disgusting, the sweet & sour chicken was very bland, the fries & rice were cold and required re heating which spoiled their taste and texture, needless to say we won’t be back again.
