I went here for dinner with my mom. We ordered 2 fries, surly you can’t go wrong with fries right? Wrong! We waited about 20min for our fries to be completely soaked in fat and oil. We get that oil is very traditionally used here in spain, but there was so much, the fries were borderline uneatable. We ordered fries many times before on our pilgrimage to Santiago de compostela, but never were they even close to being like they were at this place.
When we went to pay, the staff seemed completely unbothered by us leaving almost the whole plate untouched. They didn’t seem like they care.

Read moreReally good place for meals! Very wide opening hours and a lot of choices in the menu. I personally recommend their sweets (churros, ice-cream, homemade pastries), but for a hearty breakfast you could get the fitness pancakes (good for pilgrims/hikers). I did not try the toast or sandwiches but they looked and smelled absolutely amazing!
The service is also wonderful and fast, even though it was quite busy.
