Diabolical service. Wrong food brought to table. When corrected food came, We were quickly Asked how food was but she walked off to grab another potential customer before hearing an answer. Prawns Pil-Pil came out colder than gazpacho. All mains were cold and inedible. Not more than a mouthful eaten on any of the 4 dishes ordered. Revolting. I’ve never needed to review a restaurant before as never had food this bad. Food looked like it had been lying around for an age and maybe just stuck under a heat lamp to serve. The so called manager shrugged her shoulders and wanted full payment regardless. No effort to appease us or gesture of goodwill. She even had the audacity to gesture and flick her fingers suggesting I take the cutlery from the starter and put it on the table for the next course. When I asked for a new set she huffed and stomped off reluctantly bringing a new set. After the dreadful service and food I asked for the manager and she said she was the manager! Do yourself a favour and avoid this poorly run establishment. Go next door which is very good and popular. Ellas and the staff are incompetent, sullen and pushy. Do you have to give one star? I would leave no stars but doesn’t...

I visited Ellas last year when it was still named El Torreon (it was the beach part of El Torreon that is just across the path, and the food is from the same kitchen). The food was average to poor and the service terrible - the manageress (tall thin lady) seemed to have complete contempt for the customers and showed no interest in service. Then early in 2021 they revamped it and added sunbeds, etc and renamed it Ellas, with the food still coming from El Torreon. So we thought that we would try it again as there was no sign of the previously dismal manageress. Unfortunately she appeared just after we ordered, but we decided to persevere, which was a big mistake as the food was equally poor and her attitude, if anything, was worse. Then I decided to do this Google review, and what really made me mad was the high number of seemingly fake reviews with very similar wording, 5 stars and, for many of the reviewers, this was their only review or all their other reviews were 5 stars! How obviously fake, and the final confirmation was that many of them were for visits before the restaurant re-opened, so were they some sort of psychic reviews? This is not acceptable and results in consumers...

Vendors are bullying the customers. Salmon poke was tasty, but the BBQ pork tastes like milk (despite appearing seasoned). It’s like the SpongeBob episode where the food looks nice but it’s slop paste on the inside. Litterally the worst ribs I have ever had. I would recommend taking it off of the menu entirely. The servers were nice, but the food was so bad it ruined my day. Also the nachos are crazy expensive. Eat somewhere else, it will taste better and not be overpriced.

EDIT In the response from the restaurant you see the restaurant claiming other customers enjoying the food. Looking around, I saw that a lot of the people there were visibly upset. Who would have thought that people don't want to be asked to purchase sweat shop trinkets while they are trying to enjoy a meal? Honestly just get an apartment and drive to the beach. If you have the energy to go to the beach every day then you have the energy to spend 20 minutes driving...
