GONE DOWN HILL Being employed by a major german company i have to visit Spain, particually almost every month, bring my family when school holidays permit, which means 6 of us. Over the last 18 months, particully this year found the staff, particually the guy who use to work in the bar now a waiter also beach guy, i beileve both fron Senegal found rude, grumpy, example - the beach guy simply throws the beach mattresses then points at if you ask for one! The resturant in general has gone down hill, the menu is now very limited, only a fracton of what it was years ago! Personally find rather a liberty to place a bread roll for eveyone on the table (even though no one asks for! on every table! then charge 1.20 euros each!) although no one asks for! the roll costs 25 cents max. There was 6 of use, meals all arrived a few minutes apart! plus 3 meals wrong! asking for spanish potatoes, but given chips!, 2 meals asked for veg, given salad. The cakes in the glass case, look apetising but all stale! days old. I guess simply would not throw but serve to tourists. We had hardly finished our meal and the waiter from Senegal simply cleared our table removed the bread in the basket from under my nose! maybe to sell on again! It makes you feel you are on a conveyer belt, eat your meal and go!!, make way for the next client. The toilets are right next to the open kitchen door where food deliveries are often seen, not very hygenic. It might explain why closed frpm October to March each year, only for tourists. Would neverv recommend or...
Read moreWe will never go back to this restaurant. The hamaca man quoted 3 different prices for beer. When it was pointed out on the menu the price he quoted "they are last years prices"! We then asked for the menu of the day. One camarero said yes we have a menu del dia but hamaca man said "no". Hamaca man was rude, cocky and arrogant and thought he could treat tourists like rubbish. However we live here so big difference! Avoid at all costs and we will ensure that by word of mouth locally what a bad...
Read moreIt's a lovely little beach bar that is really popular so gets really busy. We had mixed fried fish and a tortilla Espanol. We have been eating here for years and this year we've noticed a difference in service and quality of food. It took ages to get service but it was particularly busy. The food was as disappointing, the fish was a bit greasy but as a little over cooked. Even the bread and Aioli wasn't up to the usual high standards on past visits. Maybe it was just one of those days as I would...
