The New Beach House — Restaurant in Mijas

First time back for 2 years and what a difference, but not for the better. I ordered fish & chips and the meal was awful, it consisted of 3 pieces of battered fish a side of chips and a couple of dollops of tartar sauce. Well, you couldn't really call it fish because when you cut into the greasy batter you found the smallest piece of transparent something masquerading as fish which had a salty taste and was not fit to be served as a meal. My wife had the Pork Tenderloin which was overcooked (most likely microwaved) resulting in it being so tough it was difficult to cut. We did complain to the serving staff, but not their fault. Needless to say we won't be going back. Such a shame as the restaurant is in a beautiful location within Leila...

We ate 3 meals, 2 kids meals (fries with chicken fingers and fries with fish sticks) and one burger with fries. The service was not good, really unfriendly and slow. The dishes were not good neither - fries were sloppy and a bit clod and the chicken fingers and fish sticks were too fat and simply not fine. Burger was ok. The location was good, nice few...
