I’ve been to this place twice. The first time, I was encouraged by some friends — we stayed on the sunbeds, and there was a really nice guy attending to that area.

The second time, however, we went to the restaurant, and from the very beginning, I have to say the staff seemed very unfriendly and arrogant. On top of that, we witnessed a truly awful situation.

There were two mothers with children who were just playing around normally — nothing out of the ordinary. Suddenly, one of the waitresses started yelling at one of the moms, calling her “stupid” — and this was a mom who was actually cleaning up after the kids because they had made a bit of a mess with sand... (The restaurant is on the beach!).

Later, during a live concert (the singer was very nice), the same two moms appeared again with their children. And suddenly, we hear a commotion: the same waitress, calling another staff members is once again insulting the women, pushing them, and telling them to leave.

A total scandal — and all of it in front of small children!!!!

That’s how people — customers, mothers, children — are treated in this place... This situation made it absolutely clear to me: I will never set foot...

This was our first and last visit to this restaurant, which we have going to for the last five seasons when they are opened. We ordered a. Caesar salad which had no chicken and very small pieces of bacon in a cheese sauce covering iceberg lettuce with thin slices of over toasted bread instead of croutons. We would then have preferred some sea bream, although on the menu it was not available. So we ordered paella, and as our usual mixed fish and seafood was also not available, we decided on monkfish paella. What we actually turned up was a metal bowl of rice soup with little monkfish and two crawfish. Extremely disappointing. The under manager approached us as we left, and I said it was the worse meal we had ever eaten there. She approached us somewhat aggressively and when I told her of our disappointment and said we would not be returning, she said we were banned. It goes to show the quality of restaurant that they are. If you are looking for a drink with a nice view, I thoroughly recommend it, not for food unless you...

It was the second time that I just wanted to rest for 10 minutes and drink a small beer. I arrived at 19.15 on a saturday and the staff didn't want to serve me anymore. The guy said I can only get a drink for take away. I told him, I just wanted to sit down for 10 minutes and after that I'm gone. I wasn't allowed, he said I need to leave because they close soon. I will never go there again. I recommend anyone to bring your own, cold beer (you can buy it at the chinese bazaar for 1€) and don't let your money in this bourgeois, unsympathetic beach bar.

Update: they are lying again in their response. Again: I knew they were going to close soon and I promised them to leave in time but THEY STILL SENT ME AWAY! Please go somewhere else, this is not...

We walked along the beach, in glorious sunshine to this lovely restaurant situated right on the beach - a delightful location. Great service by a very friendly, efficient team. The menu was excellent and it was quite difficult to choose, so we had several dishes and shared. My main choices were: - Mixed Croquettes - Alitas Pollo Con Limon Y Pimienta (Chicken Wings With Lemon And Pepper) - Costillas Cerdo Ahumadas Con BBQ Tajin (Smoked Ribs With BBQ Tajin) - Salmonetes (Baby Red Mullets) - Flan De Queso (Cheese Creme Caramel) All the food was excellently prepared and very tasty. The ribs were particularly good: very tender and moist with an excellent sauce. A great lunch! (Also posted to my food blog on Instagram @AbbeyKing16)

My favourite chiringuito ... fab location, good food on the shores of the Med (yes, literally!). This is one of those 'little gems' the existence of which I'm reluctant to share for fear of it becoming too popular but that would be selfish. Food is available between 10:00 and 16:30 but the bar is available until 19:30. They are closed on Wednesdays for a well earned rest. On busy weekends, public holidays and peak season I strongly recommend booking if you want lunch.

This place is amazing, we got there just after they opened and most of the restaurant was reserved. Still they found us a table and the service and food were pretty epic. The pluma Iberica is next level although the fries are wedges not fries. Still they were delicious. Clams and Calamari were also on point. Finally the white sangria was immense, the best we have ever had. Chilled tunes and an amazing view too. Suggest you visit
