La Cabaña bar & grill — Restaurant in Mojácar

The food was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and friendly, however the waiter was exceptionally rude to us. Our 3 young children were on their tablets to keep them entertained while waiting on food. My wife was checking her phone in relation to a sick relative at home. The waiter had the cheek to tell her to "put your toy away & try talking to each other for a change, you might actually find you like it." How dare he!!!! We have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years & also supported them in their previous location. We have been looking forward to this meal for all of our holidays as it is double the cost of any other restaurant. The condescending tone in which he spoke to my wife and children was outrageous!!! Haute cuisine at the beach. Beach life and tourist places often don't go well together. However here is a place that stands out as a top restaurant in just a fantastic coastal setting. We have been coming here now for 4 years and all the time have been delighted. The owner knows what makes good food good: the best ingredients. You can have a tomato salad simply of the very best tomatoes (RAF) from Almeria, the best steak possible from Argentina, the best Jamon Pata Negra. All for a reasonable price. We visited La Cabaña Bar & Grill in Mojácar last Friday for a friend’s birthday, and it was fantastic! The sea views from our table were breathtaking, and the restaurant itself is cosy and full of charm.

The owner and her team were friendly and professional, and the food was absolutely delicious – from sizzling garlic prawns and tasty starters to perfectly cooked meats.
