What could be better than popping into a bar/restaurant, ordering a cold beer and listening to some blues? After all, isn't that what live blues is all about? We read that Quasi Blues, having seen them on youtube, were playing live at 2pm on 29/10/23 so made a special trip to see them. Walked in to take a seat and was told abruptly we ' have to sit over there, not here'. We took our seats and waited 10 minutes, being totally ignored, to order our drinks. On enquiring about drinks we were told we would not be served drinks as we hadn't made a reservation, yet we were offered (reluctantly) a seat. We then asked if we could have a drink outside the front of the venue. We were shocked by the attitude of the owner(?) whose reply was 'I'm on my own, I'm too busy, I can't do everything'...or words to that effect. Can't comment on the food, drinks etc. as we were not even given the chance to sample anything on offer. Definitely can't recommend this place (seems very clique), but Quasi Blues seem like a good bet......if you're allowed...

A gem of a restaurant. Stepping into this welcoming space, the sea a glance away from the stylish wooden decked terrace, a perfect spot for a day time siesta meal while relaxing, or a moonlit evening enjoying some of the many delightful dishes that the hosts offer. The carefully thought-out menu compliments the sea air and relaxed atmosphere. Inventive use of the freshest vegetables and fish result in delightful twists of taste and combinations. Organic wines and refreshments compliment. Unique ideas abound in perfect harmony. Resulting in an experience as unique as the passion that is clearly behind this lovely space. The terrace leads down to the sea, a beautifully picturesque space for a wedding or summer gathering. The interior space, sheltered, with uniquely furnished spaces for intimate gatherings large or small. With music also the heart, artists are invited to perform for added special events.

It's such a shame I had high hopes as initial greeting from French host owner amazing. Then it went down hill. Firstly the staff are polite. Some speak English. The food let's it down it's very overpriced and extremely tasteless we've eaten better in mojacar for less euros. What the establishment consider to be large portions are not in my eyes. Then serving us Boxed cheap wine poured in bottles pretending to be of good quality. I don't recommend and wouldn't eat there again. It's literally a house on the beach front opened up to be a restaurant. No identity in my opinion a large surfboard in the bar on the floor and a Rick shore bike huge. My large salad was very small and had tiny cheap feta cubes you buy in a supermarket on it. Just tasteless rubbery and awful. My husband had scallops or saint Jacques as the restaurant like to refer to them as. Obviously frozen tasteless extremely small portion at 22 euros. Never again. Better establishment elsewhere. We just paid up and left.

I did a review the other day but it's not showing! We were in Mojacar only 3 days and we returned to Cosmo twice for lunch because we loved it so much. What a heaven to sit and eat such wonderful food with paradise view of the beach and the sea. Food with french, Moroccan and Spanish influence - I was in my element. Perfectly seasoned fresh food - what more can you want? I had fish of the day both times and the cinnamon and orange dessert both times! Deeelicious. The owner is a joy, a delightful person and it was so nice to have such lovely service. The other staff were attentive and very pleasant too. I have a health condition with limited mobility and the toilets were wheelchair accessible and they were SO clean and delightfully decorated. Again, the little details make the biggest impact in my opinion and having clean fresh inviting toilets is worth 5 stars in itself! I also bought a handmade handbag made by one of the owners friends which I adore!
