Cafetotal — Restaurant in Motril

I’ve gone to this place twice and both times were bad experiences. They promote their online ordering system that gives cheaper prices than if you order on premise, but the first time their website was wasn’t compatible with my iPhone (I tried chrome and safari browsers and neither was formatting correctly so I couldn’t really read the page). After spending 10 minutes (which feels like an eternity when you’re hungry) creating a workaround without any help from the staff (they had this attitude that it was my problem and that I had a “foreign” phone), I finally cracked it only to spend another 5 minutes having to register all my information and payment details before I could even look at the menu… at that point I was so hungry that I just ordered the normal way with the inflated prices but the food was average and the coffee subpar.

I went back again today to give it another chance, finally got past the registration page and navigated the user unfriendly ordering system just to have my payment details be declined by the platform. When I brought this to their attention, nobody cared enough to even acknowledge the issue, they just shrugged it off.

Terrible customer service, I thought I’d share as I wouldn’t wish...

Increíblemente insatisfecho. No es posible que por dos cafés nos cobrarán 5 euros, me parece increíble. Antes que nada me gustaría comentar mi experiencia. Sentado en la terraza exterior, la cafetería ocupada quizás un 30%, viendo que en 10 minutos no nos atiende, decido ir al interior y preguntar si el camarero venía a la mesa, me responde que si y ya dentro del local me decido a pedir un café con leche y un capuchino. Espero en la misma barra y me los llevo a la mesa. Llevo los dos cafés a la mesa y quería un sobrecito más de azúcar lo cual le pregunto al camarero y me hace volver al interior para coger uno de un bote que tienen nada más entrar por la puerta, en el que se podía ver perfectamente que son los sobres que otros clientes no han usado porque en ellos se ven lo sucio de café, igualmente cojo uno, veo que está aceptable y me lo llevo. Dejo adjunto una foto de la supuesta crema de café que realizan y del ticket de compra. Mi pedido fue simplemente un café con leche y un capuchino(sin nata montada). De veras que estoy muy decepcionado, y para las pocas reseñas que pongo en internet, creo que está es la peor. Prometen un café de disfrute especial, y veo dos cafés comunes a precio desorbitado. Por lo menos, estaría muy bien que tuvieran la decencia de ponerse en contacto y arreglar el mal...
