We stumbled upon Cal Batista on a hot July afternoon as we needed a place to shelter us from the sun and rehydrate - and we had a wonderful time. The staff was kind and took care of us - they offered to make us food even though it was after kitchen closing time. The butifarra and fries were simple and delicious, like a true homemade meal. Their beer was great, hoppy, citrusy and refreshing. Worth trying if you like home-brews. They offered us their homemade cheese cake which was the perfect way to finish the meal. If you like simple home cooking made with love, in a lovely setting - look no further. We will be coming back in the...

We had a wonderful meal at this charming spot in Mura and were genuinely surprised by its low rating – it’s completely undeserved.

We started with pan con tomate, olives, roasted eggplant with basil, tomatoes and mozzarella- all fresh and full of flavor. The mains, salt cod with chickpeas and entrecôte with fries, were perfectly cooked and satisfying. For dessert, we had chocolate truffles, cheesecake, and a espresso to finish.

Everything was executed with care, and the service was excellent – friendly and attentive. A true hidden...

Gluten free and vegetarian options. Excellent service. They said they will be late to serve, but in the end not at all. The terrace/place to eat outside is perfect and picturesque. Don't expect to eat the best food of your life or to go for the taste but it's good enough to eat there for the atmosphere and the service. The waiters were extremely welcoming, understanding, attentive and helpful, even with the language barrier! Thank...
