I’m not usually a restaurant reviewer however we had a very unfortunate situation in this restaurant today since they treated us very impolitely due to us being vegetarians and asking for any alternatives out of the set menu. The waiter who had previously served us coffee at our first visit, was not kind at all neither helpful to hand any veggie options. He said with other words: “it’s not my problem you are a vegetarian”. We thought to come back to the restaurant after having coffee here and then went for a walk nearby. I don’t know if the problem was that we were vegetarians or that we were a couple of two men, but we had to leave the restaurant without eating and then finding a much kind and easier approach at the restaurant in Hostal Mura. Some places do not understand or know that there are many types of clients with different necessities. We never asked for anything out of the menu but they denied us to have just one dish (the only option available for us). I still don’t get the lack of flexibility...
Read moreWe spent a day in Mura last summer. My husband’s aunt used to have a house there and we had been going to Cal Carter for years. We won’t be back. It was mid week when we would have expected a menu del dia but we’re told that due to the pandemic they had stopped serving this option as they had to make up their losses. Not my problem, especially as I had recently lost my own job. It went from bad to worse. We were served a vermut with soda water…the waiter spilt the soda into the drink, all over our table and myself, no offer of a change of table despite it being early with lots of free tables. The meal was okay, the gaspacho was excellent, main courses dry with hard beans. Cost was over 80€ which we were not expecting to spend. We had cofffee in the next village…they were serving a menu of the day 12€ ! Exactly what we had just eaten. In all, bad service and regular food. An...
Estaria bé començar a valorar els nostres drets!
