Food is good. I will tell you why you should skip this restaurant anyway. Service is a mess, a chaos. They are understaffed in every area of the restaurant.
Due to lack of restaurants in the area, we decided to give them a second try (making a booking this time), because the food was good the first time.
When arriving, they only pay attention to the ones first in line in the entrance, asking how many patrons they are. They don't care to ask who has a reservation.
After we wait for a long time while the waiters run around super stressed out, making little time to talk to new guests arriving. We make a point out of having a reservation (20 mins ago) and are told we can have a table inside in 3 minutes. The patio which we reserved is impossible. They didn't ask for our name or reservation.
As we are with a hungry child, we accept.
We are seated after 8-9 minutes. Given 1/3 glass of Cava each for the disappointment. We get a menu after 6-7 minutes. 30 minutes after we were sat down, we finally get to order. This is 10 minutes after the waiter told us he would be right with us to take the order. This is now 50 minutes after our reservation.
Because I suspect getting food on the table can take a while, I decide to take our 6 year old outside of the restaurant to play.
We then discover that 2 families after us in the waiting line has gotten tables on the patio (as we had reserved online, and was told was impossible). But what really pushed my patience over the edge, was that one of the families got their food served as I passed, and the other one was almost finished eating their first course.
So after we were ignored inside for almost 30 minutes, they made sure guests arriving later got all the service.
I saw the manager standing around and went to talk to him, but was stopped on my way over by a waiter, asking how he could help. The manager was just casually standing around watching the chaos. The waiter told me I could raise my concerns with him, as the managers English skills are somewhat lacking.
I rarely raise my voice, but wanted to make sure the manager understood I was angry, and I told this waiter what a terrible chaos this place is. The manager observed and didn't raise an eyebrow or come over to help out.
How can a manager (owner?) behave like this? I wish I never have a boss like this.
I do eat out quite a bit in all different price and service ranges, never have I experienced so little control of what they were doing. Their whole bar was stacked with dirty glasses and dishes.
Surprisingly, the food was good both times we visited.
Still, I warn you - don't go here in peak...

Read moreSeemingly nice place at first. We didn't book so were made to stand outside for 20 minutes in 34°C heat (our fault really) but there were several tables free and unreserved and others that needed cleaning but were not being cleaned, even by the hostess who greeted us. When we were finally sat down, after about 20 minutes of sitting we were told a rough recollection of the cocktails menu by a waitress rather than directing us to the QR code linked menu, and also recollected drinks that didn't exist. She then told her colleague she didnt understand us despite us only saying yes to one of her suggestions. The item we said yes to wasn't even on the menu, apparently. We realised ourselves there was a QR code menu and ordered from it when a different waitress came to take our drinks order, so we also slipped our food order in to make sure we wouldnt have to wait another 20 minutes for it to be taken. 30 minutes passes and we still haven't had our drinks. When they finally arrive, both seem small and didn't last very long so we were left for another 20 minutes or so with no drinks and no food. When food does finally arrive, the seafood skewers is an overpriced tiny portion of three types of seafood with no seasoning, and 5 minutes later, pale fries that were supposed to come with it arrived at the table. The other meal was the relatively cheap bolognese tagliatelle and honestly I've tasted more flavour in school canteens; not only did there seem to be a lack of tomatoes througout the dish (3 roasted cherry tomatoes on top) but the meat and sauce tasted of essentially nothing, the sauce itself was watery and the tagliatelle was harder than it should have been and sometimes stuck together.
The manager was given feedback about the waiting time and the drinks were deducted from the bill out of the kindness of her heart. She suggested that they were understaffed, however this place seems to be making enough money to hire more people, so I don't understand the logic. We left as quickly as we could after contemplating not even paying the bill.
All in all, would never go back and can't understand the high ratings...
