Pizzería La Góndola — Restaurant in Níjar

I feel bad leaving this review because the staff were really swept off their feet, but I will only state the truth of our experience here. We were attracted to the restaurant because of the great reviews but today we were disappointed. I had a fish pizza on which the prawns were very undercooked. My partner had the only vegetarian gourmet pizza which had far too much blueberry jam on in comparison to the other stated ingredients. It took too long before we were served, we weren't eating before over an hour from when we arrived. The sangria was poor also. The staff were working very hard and the place got very very busy just after we arrived but I feel obligated to leave this dissatisfied review, but also to with the proprietors every success. I read very good reviews and went here on my visit to San Jose. Had a good expectation since I chose here when there were like 5 Italian restaurant on the way to this one close to this restaurant. The food came super slow. It was a weekend so there were many people so I understand a bit but we waited almost an hour for the pizza and pasta. The pizza is enormous and good but too thin in my opinion. Pasta was also okok. Italian food can't go wrong so they were in general yummy but didn't find it very special except the size of the pizza...

Out of every few hundred places you randomly pick to try and fill your belly, there is always one that nourishes your soul, and you also leave a friend. Fine and high-quality Italian cousine prepared by a lovely Catalan lady, with service offered by two wonderful people in a naturally relaxed atmosphere.
