«Bar-Restaurante Ankla 16» is an excellent restaurant. We ate «Pulpo a la plancha» or grilled octopus, «Ensalada Ankla 16», «Entrecot de Ternera Selección Trasacar» which is a veal entrecote. For desserts we ate «Torrija con Helado», which is French toast with ice cream, and a divine «Flan de Queso». In this restaurant you are spoiled culinary, everything was top class. Read moreWe were driving by, looking for a place to eat. The wife found this place. We expected average, tourist food. What we got was the best meal of our trip. We shared the ox tails and mashed potatoes. It was tender and flavorful. Fall off the bone tender. The view, looking over the small port, was out of a movie.
The only problem was fighting my 100 pound wife for the Arroz con Leche. We did well sharing the Dulce de Leche, but I looked away, and the Arroz was gone. It was good while it lasted....
