Since this restaurant opened in the spring of this year 2021, both myself and my partner Carla have been completely blown away by their variety of exceptional Nepalese / Indian dishes. There are a fair few Indian restaurants in Nerja and as ex pats from London, of course, we've eaten at all of them. Suddenly this little gem of a restaurant opened up just a hundred or so meters up the road from Burriana beach. The moment we tried their super light and crisp poppadoms, there amazing inion bhaji and of course, those super tasty Nepales Momos, we knew we'd found our nirvana of Indian food. Their standard of cooking and selection of dishes is by far more superior to any other Indian restaurant that we've ever eaten at any where in Spain, it's even better than what was our favourite Indian restaurant in London. The staff Pahuna are ever so friendly and welconing especially Santos who always serves us with a smile 😊 We go at leat once a week, we've taken friends and they've all commented on just how good this place is. What more can I say, go try it out ! You'll be very glad...
Read moreOur first time dining in Pahuna the other night and we will definitely be back. My wife had the Sherpa curry and finally had a curry that was properly spicy. I had a madras which was also delicious. Neither curry was oily as is often the case and both had loads of chicken. We had delicious starters of potato cakes and spicy chicken and the pilau rice was fragrant and a generous serving for two people. The garlic naan was amazing, so light! The staff are so welcoming and the lady whose name I didn't get was so friendly and has great personality chatting with everyone in the restaurant. Free drinks offered after dinner and my limoncello was delicious. We found the meal excellent value. Our favourite Indian meal in Nerja by far. Looking forward to returning when we are back in Nerja in...
Read moreI want to do this place justice. We've been coming to Nerja for the last five years. We've sampled some of the best cuisine on offer from all parts of the world. Originally from London, I would say I've also tried some of the very best Indian/Nepalese food available however, Pahuna left me thinking I have so much more to experience. The food, sublime at that, was incredible. Perfect balance of flavours. I cannot believe I hadn't been here before in the five years previous to my visit yesterday. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I couldn't help but over hear their advice they gave to other customers who all murmered with the satisfying sounds and rewarding meal deserves. We highly recommend Pahuna for a delicious Indian/Nepalese dinner. I challenge you to be...
