Educare Aventura — Attraction in Nerja

This was a mixed feelings experience - we did the SUP guided tour.

At the start we were given a quick verbal explanation on where to put our feet when standing up. We then got in the water and started following the guide while attempting to stand up, the guide kept paddling away and only turned back to look at us once she was a good 60 meters away. Upon seeing that we were left behind and trying to get back on our boards after falling over, she just stood there waiting, no help or tips were offered and we were left with the feeling that we had someone waiting impatiently for us to catch up, because of this we started paddling while sitting down towards the guide, who kept going anyways, not even waiting for us to catch up. No effort or time was given to let us attempt to get back up. We ended up being left a bit behind towards the end of the tour since we wanted to actually stand up during a stand up paddle tour, my girlfriend fell and hurt her knee quite a bit, the guide was really far away and didn't even check in. At this point why even have a guide? The experience wouldn't have been much different had we just rented a board.

All in all, the guide's presence was quite weak, always too far away to help us when trying to stand up in the beginning and to be aware of what was going on when we fell and even got hurt. On top of this, during the snorkeling section of the tour, we are tasked with keeping our paddle boards close to us, however, no leash is provided. So you can either try and look at the fish and then swim to fetch your board that has drifted away in the current or keep a close hold of it, but at that point, you're not really enjoying...

🏖 Playa de Burriana y el entorno

Educare Aventura se encuentra en la Playa de Burriana, una de las más populares de Nerja. Es una playa grande, de arena fina y aguas cristalinas, rodeada de montañas y con un paseo marítimo lleno de restaurantes y chiringuitos. 🌅

Pero lo que realmente hace especial esta zona es su cercanía a los acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo, un parque natural protegido con cuevas marinas, calas escondidas y una fauna marina espectacular. Es el lugar perfecto para hacer kayak, snorkel y paddle surf, ya que permite descubrir rincones que solo son accesibles por mar. 🌿🏞

🛵💨 Snorkel con scooter submarino

Una de las actividades más originales que hemos probado. En lugar de hacer snorkel convencional, aquí te equipan con un scooter submarino, que te permite deslizarte a gran velocidad por el agua con total facilidad.

💙 Lo mejor de la experiencia: ✅ La sensación de volar bajo el agua es impresionante. Apenas hay esfuerzo físico, lo que permite explorar más zonas en menos tiempo. ✅ Los monitores te explican cómo usar el equipo y te llevan a los mejores puntos para ver peces, estrellas de mar y otras especies marinas. 🐟🌊 ✅ El agua en esta zona es tan transparente que se puede ver el fondo perfectamente, incluso desde la superficie.

Nos sentimos como auténticos buceadores profesionales y disfrutamos muchísimo de la experiencia. Una opción perfecta para quienes buscan algo más dinámico que el snorkel tradicional. 🔥

🚣‍♂️ Ruta guiada en kayak por los acantilados

La segunda actividad que hicimos con ellos fue la famosa ruta en kayak hasta los acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo, y es una de las mejores experiencias que se pueden vivir en la Costa del Sol.

💙 Lo mejor de la experiencia: ✅ La ruta es asequible para todos los niveles. No hace falta experiencia previa, ya que los monitores explican cómo remar y llevan el ritmo del grupo para que nadie se quede atrás. ✅ Se recorren cuevas marinas y calas escondidas, algunas de ellas solo accesibles en kayak. 🚤🏝 ✅ El color del agua en esta zona es una locura. En algunos puntos es turquesa intenso, y en otros tan clara que se ven los peces nadando debajo del kayak. 💎 ✅ Los monitores van parando en diferentes puntos para explicar curiosidades del entorno: la geología de los acantilados, la fauna marina y las historias locales. ¡Súper interesante! 📚

En definitiva, es una experiencia imprescindible para quien visite Nerja. Ver los acantilados desde el mar es una perspectiva totalmente diferente y espectacular. 🌊🔥

⭐ Nuestra valoración...

The views during the trip were beautiful, however we were left alone in the sea on the way back. The way back to the beach was against the waves, and we were constantly blown in the oposite direction, especially taking into account that we’re lightweight girls. Our group was faster than us, and at some point we started loosing them from our sight. They were getting further and further away. We had no more power to continue going, my hands were shaking and I started getting seasickness because of the high waves. My mom was doing it all. I was trying to raise a paddle to call for help, but nobody was coming for us. Eventually, we came back, 30 minutes later than our group. Nobody was at the beach, our instructor left home. Nobody was waiting at the beach to help us lift and park the kayak either (although we weren’t the last group that day).

This was a dangerous experience. We are lucky we made it back. But I assume that if someone was in a worse condition, they might have not. And the company takes no responsibility for...
