Haven’t eaten here but why they’ve attempted fine dining on Burriana Beach is ridiculous. The prices are very high the food selection is aimed at high end Mediterranean fusion..

We stopped for a drink 6 of us.. my wife and I along with our 4 kids.. it has a decent street terrace to sit, on a breezy But Sunny January day it’s a good place to get off of the cold wind and enjoy the sunshine.. when I asked if they do Tapas I was given a curt NO they don’t..

We ordered drinks anyway, 2 beers and soft drinks for kids, kids drinks individually being more expensive than our beers, ( most places are the same unfortunately) On the next table was a Couple sat doing the same as us.. we noticed they had a few nibbles, olives, crisps.. not much but enough and bare minimum you’d expect when ordering a beer in Spain. Our nibbles didn’t arrive... we spent 16€ and got nothing.. I felt compelled to tell the manager when paying our bill to which he apologised... Such a shame that so many Bars in Nerja don’t give you a Tapas like they once did.. we prefer eating and drinking in the next Costa, Costa Tropical, you always get a Tapa wherever you go.. it unfortunately feels in parts of the Nerja that they seem to forget that tourism and the tourist is the life blood of the town.. That said, we do have some great restaurants and bars in Nerja still.. just takes a little...

I was served later than my friends , the portions were very small and salmon was over cooked. When I asked them very politely to change it there was no apology and I sat while my friends ate waiting for my meal. When it eventually came after my friends had finished their meal, once more there was no apology for waiting time. This time the salmon was undercooked and vegetables overdone. Once again there was no apology, I was offered the menu to offer something else and I declined as I didn’t trust the food. I was very disappointed as my friend had booked it for my birthday and had only good things to say. I’m very patient with service here as I’m a resident so know how to complain tactfully. I decided there was no point in complaining directly so am interested to see if there is a response here. I ended up eating nothing. My friends were happy with their meals and the overall atmosphere was reasonably good, so I’m interested in other opinions! Won’t be...

Arrived for our booking, the time for which had been suggested by them. The staff were eating and we were told our booking didn’t work anymore and to come back later. We’ve got an 18 month old so we were very disappointed as we can’t be as flexible as most people. The staff were all so utterly miserable, inflexible and unfriendly looking that we didn’t return. When walking past later the restaurant only had one occupied table. I don’t think we’ll ever give it another chance nor would we ever recommend it. The Thai restaurant down the road is guaranteed friendly service in our experience and great food. Do that instead.
