Restaurante Costa Esperanza — Restaurant in Níjar

We ate here without consulting the Google reviews first and it was the biggest mistake. Our experience was the same as others. Super friendly staff serving super horrible food. I don’t think the restaurant provide meals to the employees. If they do, it is impossible the employees are still alive eating food like that everyday. We ordered a mixed fried fish for 2 person. That’s the one served like a camp fire. There was 4 kinds of fishes with 3 white fried rings (it was called squid ring apparently but i couldn’t taste any “squidness” in them). From the 4 kinds of fishes, one type was on the verge of rotting and you could taste the rottenness in it. Unfortunately that was the juiciest of all fishes on the plate. The other fishes are very dry. I don’t know what cooking techniques they used to make the fish so dry but my guess is triple fried them. We tried to end the fishes’ journey here but they were too dry and taste horribly. We apologise to the next customer ordering fried fishes because you guys are going to get quadruple...

Hoy al ir a visitar el puerto con mi mujer y mi hijo hemos parado a tomar una bebida para refrescarnos un poco. ERROR.

Yo pido una Radler, mi mujer una caña y el peque un Aquarius. Dicen que cerveza de barril no tienen, que con la hora que es... (lo primero que no te cuadra es que la 1:30 del mediodía sea "mala hora" para que le pidas una caña. El camarero se mira el reloj diciendo que todavía no tienen montados los barriles. Es fuerte el tema...). Mi mujer le dice que entonces un botellín. El camarero hace otro gesto y dice que no, que tiene que ser tercio. No entiendes nada. En qué tipo de bar o restaurante has caído??? Viene por fin con las bebidas. Trae dos tercios iguales de cerveza, la que le ha salido de ahí mismo al camarero. Ni sé han acordado de que una era con limón, o directamente se la ha soplado. Te metes el tercio de cerveza que no querías y encima tiene que ser a palo seco. Le dedimos que si nos pone alguna tapa y dice que no, que allí son de raciones (piensas "sigo estando en Almería? o me han teletransportado a otro sitio y no me he enterado".). Le dices, pues pónganos aunque sea unas patatas fritas o unas aceitunas. Dice que tampoco, que hoy "no les han servido aceitunas. Que normalmente las ponen para acompañara la bebida pero que hoy justamente no". Qué mala suerte hombre. Ni tienen cañas, ni tienen claras de limón, ni tienen botellines, ni tienen patatas fritas ni tienen aceitunas. Y todo en el mismo día!! Pero entonces no estáis ni para abrir!!! Claro. Luego piensas y te das cuenta que allí, el primer restaurante de la zona del puerto, que seguramente sea el peor con diferencia, no se paran ni los camellos a repostar. El hombre nos puso en la primera mesa de cebo, a ver si con un poco de suerte alguien se animaba a entrar, pero solo entraron dos mujeres y era para ir al baño.

Pides la cuenta. 10,50 euros. No te has tomado lo que querías, te han toreado y te han cobrado como si fuera una cerveza que te hubieras tomado en Dinamarca, cara y sin tan siquiera una aceituna que llevarte a la boca.

Aconsejo ver la puntuación media que tiene el restaurante y ver las que tienen el resto en esa misma zona, y ya lo entiendes todo. Desde luego, como tengan que sobrevivir a base de engañarte hasta para ponerte tres bebidas, lo tienen muy crudo. Y mira que suelo ser generoso con mis reseñas... pues aquí una estrella y porque no puedo poner menos. Estamos en el 2025, y no se puede engañar...
