Che!!! Pizza & Pasta by Che — Restaurant in Orihuela

We decided to go for a meal without looking at reviews or thinking too much about where to go and randomly rocked up at this place, it looked pretty busy and we fancied pasta. That was us sold! We soon started to realise that we should have probably googled it as what have we let ourself in for. The service was awful but luckily the food was actually ok, in the end the service became a little like a sitcom so instead of being annoyed by such awful service we decided to try and find it entertaining, From having to ask for cutlery, napkins and side plates as we had a plate of garlic bread just dumped in the middle of the table and in the end we lay the table ourselves as the waitresses looked like they were ‘chilling’ inside, one of them eventually did ask if everything was ok as she saw me help myself to their amenities. One particular waitress was seemingly more interested in having a laugh than actually doing her job. From working in hospitality myself it was what I’d call my worst nightmare of how a Restaurant runs, people who were seated first were being ignored, our order was taken before people who had been sat there for ages, desserts were coming out to one table 5 mins separate from each other so by the time the fifth person had theirs the first person had finished eating. The waitress posed with a cat for photos, kept kissing it on the head, one gentleman finally got her attention to order desserts and she said ‘hang on’ mid order and ran off to some customers she knew at the front. It was almost hilarious and awful at the same time. We ordered some Coffees and Dessert (not sure why we stayed longer in hindsight) we waited 30 mins and looked inside and the boy who was making drinks was stood there confused and not doing anything. One waitress was chilling on a chair looking up at the sky and one was doing all the work and also looked confused. It was a hospitality nightmare - but if you fancy a laugh and some average food. Go for it! P.s we cancelled the Dessert in the end as it got to 40 mins and wanted to go to bed...

This is the first and most properly last review I will ever make. But I need to warn you, if you want to eat here. Do not eat here!! I had a salmon pasta dish along with starters drinks and my boyfriend also got a main pasta dish. I found a large piece of plastics which unfortunately I chewed and almost chocked on. I spoke to the lovely waiter who apologied and took it to the cook. He however said it was a scale of a salmon. I found this hard to believe as the plastic was not the shape of a scale and was very sharp, large and tough. The plastic was so sharp it scratched my hand when showing the waiter. I gave 2 larger pieces of the plastic to the waiter to show the cook. The waiter who was apologetic said the cook said it was a scale.I asked to speak to the cook as I found it unbelievable that the cook was still saying it was a scale. He said he had seen the scale when making the disk. Which was also shocking as it was huge and would surely have been removed if it was a scale I a creamy salmon dish. I have kept the 3 small peices to hopefully take it further. If this was a small child it could have been extremely dangerous. The waiter was very helpful and was probably in tricky situation. We paid full price with the dish taken off the bill. We should have either been discounted or made to pay the full price if it was a scale as stated. Very disappointed and I feel sick to the stomach. The way they acted was as if this has happened on more than one occasion as they wasn't even shocked that this was raised.

We had booked a table for 5 people which turned out to be a table for 4 with a chair at each end making it 6 chairs but the table had place settings for 5 people. The server asked were the sixth person was and we explained that we only booked fir 5. She argued that it was for 6 people and i pointed out that there was only 5 settings to which she said that she hadn't finished setting the table. She then said that she should charge us for the chair before taking it away and putting it at another table. Every so often as she passed our table she would interrupt our conversation and say that the booking was for 6 people. Towards the end of our night which we cut short due to her constant harassment it developed into an argument to which i said ok you are right and we're wrong, you win. She left us alone and came back within a minute saying she had checked the book and it was for 6 people. We paid and left and will never go back. I hope the owner reads this and trains the staff to leave the customers alone and let them enjoy there evening which they are...
