Restaurante Chino Nan King — Restaurant in Orihuela

Expected good things and had been prepared about the brusque nature of the owner...but overall not one of my best Chinese restaurant experiences.

Asked to be seated inside due to the traffic and heat on the roadside terrace...Needless to say we lost this one and ended up on the terrace! Obviously a full terrace is great PR!

The starter was excellent and nothing like the tiny, mass produced spring rolls in the UK...these were rectangular pockets the size of a postcard. Excellent value for under 2€.

My friend's main of sizzling beef was very good, as were the fried noodles. Unfortunately the restaurant doesn't cater for vegetarians on the menu apart from garlic broccoli, Chinese curry or mixed veg. I ended up choosing noodles and chips! Quite disappointing and very greasy.

To sum up...be prepared for the amusingly pushy owner and meat eaters will enjoy the menu. Vegetarians...definitely consider an...

We have been here few times with the family and was always happy with everything but we went for a meal today just two of us and experienced really rude, bad service!! We picked the meal for two and as soon as we said that, the woman literally ripped the menu out of my husbands hand. We have noticed that the meal for two included a bottle of wine or a dessert! She was trying to hide it. We asked for it and we got the bottle of wine with a very angry face...if you don't want to give it, don't advertise it in your menu!!! We were shocked with the whole situation! Food was OK but not as good as the menu with single dishes. I would definitely not recommend the set menu for any amount of people. We will not...

Food is good felt rushed through the hole of the meal was eating last bit of starter and waiter took plate plate from us . I felt like every time the waiting staff passed me the would ask you want another beer you want another beer I still had over half a pint left ????. The sun was shining through the window half way through our meal and I asked the waitress if we could move on reply she said no and moved me into the isle so when some one passed me they either knocked me or my chair. The restaurant was busy and as customer's came through the door the waitress would shout how many how many instead of greeting them this became very annoying even for other customers...
