Quisine Kitchen — Restaurant in Orihuela

We had friends over from Cork and booked a table at Quisine. The best decision ever we were met by friendly staff all who seemed to enjoy their job.

The starters got us off to a good start, house white wine for the ladies which they enjoyed, and beer for the men

I ordered the fillet steak, very rare, and I recieved a perfectly cooked steak that needed no effort to cut it AND it came on a HOT plate. My friend also had the fillet cooked medium rare again perfectly cooked. Sorry but my pet hate is being served hot food on a cold plate. The ladies had fish, which again was beautifully cooked, and the presentation excellent.

I of course cannot resist dessert ,and went for the chocolate fudge cake with vanilla ice cream. It was so light, I think it was only the ice cream that stopped it floating off the plate. The ladies had perfectly made Irish Coffees.

Thank you, for all the wonderful food which made it a fantastic night which we all enjoyed, we will be back very soon.

Celebrated our Wedding Anniversary at this marvellous restaurant in the Rioja Centre last night. The owner recommended the Duck Empanadas as a starter, whilst my wife had their version of Cullen Skink with Smoked Mackerel, both of which we enjoyed. To follow, she chose the Lamb Chops with Mint Sauce special, and I had my favourite, Roast Cod with Prawns and Dauphinoise Potatoes, which was an absolute delight. To close, I had the Sticky Toffee Pudding and Ice Cream, and my wife had her favourite Quisine Cheesecake in a glass, which she says is to die for. As always, service was impeccable and the whole experience worth the 5 Star assessment. We will definitely be returning again and again. Thanks for another wonderful evening. Well worth a visit if you are close by. Food is much better than the average for the area. The fillet steak was amazing! Only minor disappointment was the 3 tables around us were all offered a drink on the house when paying the bill, but for some reason we were not. A drink on the house is a nice touch, so was sad that despite the other tables having 2 diners, we did not get this for our table of 4. Our bill was €125 and we left a €15 tip. Might have been an error but left us feeling a bit undervalued as customers. Maybe because we dined with kids, but surely you should treat all customers the same.
