I visited this establishment last year and was impressed with the food and service. Today 12/11/2023 around 1.30pm I am again in Fuerteventura and decided to visit this restaurant again. We saw from afar that it was full but we went with my wife and friends. I am disabled, the waiter, a short old man with white hair, saw us and asked us to wait until a table became available. As a disabled person, I sat on the railing at the entrance of the restaurant and waited. During this time, a group of 6 Germans entered through us to the bar of the restaurant. When a table became available, the waiter seated first the Germans who came after us. We immediately protested to the waiter that we had arrived before the Germans and that I am disabled, and the waiter said that he had no eyes on his back and had not seen us, which was not true because he personally told us to wait for a table. The establishment has surveillance cameras that can prove my claim, but the staff did not want to seat us before the Germans. As a disabled person, I had to stand with my crutches by the bar and wait another 10 minutes. All staff became aware of the problem. We were finally settled in and had lunch and sangria. The food was very tasty and we recommend it. Finally we asked for the bill which was €84.10. The bill is carried in a glass cup and not in a tray as is customary. We put notes one of €50, one €20 and one €10 and two coins of €2 and one €0.10. Because there was a scandal at check-in and we were not satisfied with the service, my wife prepared the exact amount of €84.10. Just to be sure, we gave the cup with the money and the bill to our friend to check. a young waitress came and took the cup with the correct change. We were already getting up when she came back and showed us an empty cup with no coins and only the three bills of €50, €20 and €10. I'm 58 years old and I've never had a waitress steal part of the bill, namely €4.10 worth of coins, and blame me for it. There are surveillance cameras and the bosses can see what a cheat the waitress is. I am giving one star because I conscientiously paid my bill regardless of the poor service and the audacity of the waitress to steal part of the bill and accuse me of not paying. Bosses please review the camera footage. Next time I'll call the police. And I don't recommend the restaurant even though it's the only one on the beach and it lets the staff do whatever they want. Lack of supervision from a...
Read moreThis is my first time writing negative review but I really feel this should be shared. The bar/restaurant is really on unique place with amazing views and the drinks they are serving looks very good, however the food was a big dissapointment. We have pre-ordered paella for 3 people and were really looking forward to it but could not even finish it. It tasted like any rissoto I could get in cheap restaurant but the biggest issue were super overcooked shrimps which were basically like mashed potatoes and they also left the digestive tract in all of them. After complaining they still charged us for 2 portions out of 3 and I think the paella in general is way too...
Read moreAfter our walk along the beach, we called in to have a couple of Barraquitos. The staff were very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere with music that wasn't too loud. We arrived just as they were opening up, and I was surprised to see the staff putting Ash Trays on every table. I was under the impression that smoking was banned in Spain on premises. Just as we were finishing our drinks, a couple arrived with those awful e-cigs. €4.25 for a Barraquito. They are only €3 in our hotel. They have a captive market that allows them to increase...
