atlántico Lounge — Restaurant in Pájara

Hospitality is from the word, but here this word combination is a mistake. I visited this place several times, the first time was two years ago, and both the service and the environment were wonderful. Then I decided to take my family here, and to our surprise we were served by an unpleasant gypsy lady who was late with the order even though the restaurant was not full. We waited 45 minutes. She brought us coffee and water and threw it on the table. The environment and the view of the ocean are beautiful, but what they are showing here is a disgusting intention. I was a professional bartender for years. The cocktails they make here are disgusting, they don't know how to mix a frozen pink cocktail, you couldn't even look at it, let alone drink it. We are terribly disappointed. However, the third time we gave it another chance when the waiter brought us a drink of coffee with milk, so there was a used bag from the dessert floating in the coffee, but he immediately took it with the words mamamia and apologized, it was already a better approach. I just want to write this to the owners of this restaurant, that I would like to teach their staff how to mix cocktails properly, because it is a shame to have such a nice terrace and not have quality staff and, ultimately, quality drinks. For context we came here from a hotel nearby because we were tired of the gross hotel food and came here hoping for a delicious meal only to be disappointed once again. Any tourists coming to this place, it’s a restaurant and hotel food place in one. When we walked in they weren’t attentive because they thought we were just guests but clearly we looked confused and they didn’t even approach us until we said something ourselves.

The food took long to come even and when it came it was somehow cold? The food was honestly so bland and disgusting it lacked flavouring and seasoning. The overall presentation of the food looked unappetising itself like the pieces of vegetables were literal mush and COLD I didn’t even know what vegetables I was eating. Although it was a nice restaurant on the inside for some reason everyone kept staring at me and my friend and when I say everyone it was a bunch of white Europeans just staring us down and it was very uncomfortable. The waitresses seemed scared to approach us because we only spoke English and there was only one man that kinda spoke English and he was very kind.

Excellent bar attached to the hotel restaurant. The outside seating has excellent views over the beach and ocean. Reasonable prices and good service from attentive and friendly staff. Perfect for coffee and cake, or beer, as you prefer. Marked down on food as the one dinner I had there was far too salty for my taste and rather over-cooked.
