Fuerte Bar — Restaurant in Pájara

I had a very disappointing experience at Feurto Bar in Costa Calma. We ordered 5 pieces of fried chicken and were served 3 wings and only 2 actual pieces of chicken. Not only was this poor value, but the chicken itself was overcooked, far too crispy, very dry, and honestly not edible.

I raised my concerns politely and explained that the food was not up to standard and that I did not feel it was reasonable to pay full price. Instead of addressing the issue or showing any understanding, the owner was dismissive and extremely rude, even going so far as to tell me not to return. This was shocking, especially as we had visited just the day before and had a much better experience, which is why we decided to come back.

To treat customers this way, particularly when I was there with my pregnant partner, is unacceptable. Good hospitality should mean consistency in food quality and respect for guests, neither of which we received. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this...

I was able to watch English football here on a Saturday for the Liverpool game, the early afternoon 1230 k.o no problem. The staff are Spanish, attentative, very friendly and speak good English. Has multiple flat screens. Real Madrid vs Espanyol were were also playing at 1300 but they said I could watch any game I wanted. I was pleasantly surprised they put on the English football at my request. The bar is on a quiet main road, but always has people passing through to catch a drink or a bite to eat. The majority of customers are not interested in the football so no commentary, just music but I didn't care as I was here for the game. The burgers, the beers were great and prices very reasonable. Near walking distance to my hotel, easy to find and near a beautiful long stretch of beach in Costa Calma. A really nice open aired surf themed bar. The bar was unassuming from the outside, but the smell of sizzling food lured me in… so, I sat down and the friendly waitress accommodated me perfectly by assisting with my language barrier. The selection is relatively simple, but the simplicity is hardly a negative factor, as the food was brilliant and each and every meal was delicious- simply perfect. An item I must mention specifically is the “American style tapas plate”, as it was not only a good dish, but also is at a reasonable price point.
