Amazing, the hotel resort Melia Gorronias is a beautiful retreat for a relaxing break. The service is great and the staff on all fronts very welcoming and friendly. The only thing it's very much spot the coloured person there so when me and my wife recently went we had a few gawking eyes no biggie though. More of a couples and family resort.Very much worth renting out your own vehicle to get about as ventures outside the resort on foot not at all possible. An hour drive from the airport to the hotel simple enough. For Muslims there is a local masjid nearby 10min drive masjidal houda. Weather in Janaury was mid 20s so fair enough and people maintain their decency and modesty as compared to other beaches. Breakfasts and dinner are a delight buffet service. Beach lagoon amazing and overall...

Not for us at all. If you like soul less, man made, 'concrete jungle' type places then this is for you. Nice long, clean, sandy beach but hard to find a proper way down, everyone scrambled up and down rough paths made by people trying to get there, eg at the edge of the car park or clinging onto a fence where a set of steps had given way. The far end of the beach was taped off due to a large chunk of errosion, house walls and palm trees graced the sand. Lots of rertaurants are part of hotels. The resort is split in two by a main road. No nice shops to look around.Very disappointed, won't be...

The beach is fine but its backed by a souless collection of hotels rather than a town built as a resort with most roads dead-ends and now town as such to speak of. Its the Milton Keynes of Holiday spots soulless boring and terribly laid out. If going to Southern Fuerteventura my advice is go down near Morro Jable at least there is an actual town there. I'm not a big drinker and definitely not a clubber but give me some sign of live some sign of a pulse. The only thing this place has going for it is its proximity to Sotavento...

A lovely beach, a mixture of black sand and the usual stuff, a step down due to the tidal influence. Great for a walk with a rocky area at each end but passable at low tide. The Southern end seems to attract a nudist crowd. There are 2 beach bars on the sand which serve decent food and drink at good prices based on the location. A mix of all nationalities which is perfect - enjoy 😎

Absolutely beautiful beach. Spotlessly clean, wide and long, with plenty of space. A couple of good beach bars. Just a perfect spot for beach walks. Chipmunks live in the cliffs at North East end.. take nuts to feed them! Crabs live in the rocks at the South West end. Shallow water out to a fair distance. The Water was a little bracing in March but bearable!
