Gioli Gourmet Club — Restaurant in Pájara

I first ate in Gioli during March 24. Arrived in digs and went straight out for food. As it was the first night and hungry we decided on a pizza and food this place looked inviting. Pizza is a common dish and most people have ate pizza somewhere or other and will have an opinion on pizza. But for me this was the tastiest most delicious pizza I've ever had. I came to La Lajita again during January 25 and I was curious as to whether the pizza would be as good again or was it my imagination? I was correct, these must be the tastiest pizzas outside of Italy... or maybe even better. I'll find out soon when I go to Rome. If on the island then a visit is a must. If you're in La Lajita you cannot miss the the opportunity to taste these. Everything served including beverages was very generous and reasonably priced. The decor and atmosphere is also very agreeable with the service doing the establishment justice....

Absolutely terrible for allergy sufferers, egotistical chef - who the server called crazy. We asked if we could substitute the tomato sauce for either tinned tomatoes or fresh tomatoes on a margarita - due to the sauce containing garlic. The chef refused to do it, saying he had no tomatoes… after seeing the table next to us having fresh tomatoes on their pizza, we asked if he could just put mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and rocket on a pizza and the server said yes. When the pizza arrived, the rocket was dirty, and pizza dough lacked seasoning. We were most shocked when the bill arrived, we had been charged for a margarita + 3€ of extras!

In addition both tables next to us had issues, so I would not recommend this, and if you’re Italian, you will die from what they’re...

Im Urlaub in Fuerteventura. An unserem ersten Abend waren wir gleich im Gioli zum Essen. Es liegt in La Lachita und ist eigentlich ein Pizza Restaurant Aber sehr gut gestylt, wirklich gemütlich und mit sehr gutem Service. Die Wein Auswahl lässt ein wenig zu wünschen übrig aber die drei Weißweine die zur Auswahl standen waren wirklich alle sehr gut. Und preiswert noch dazu. Wir bestellten als Vorspeise das rote Beete carpaccio mit Ziegen Käse und karamellisierten Walnüssen. Optisch eine Augenweide und geschmacklich top. Das war schon mal ein perfekter Einstieg. Dazu gab es warmes Ciabatta mit Knoblauchbutter. So was von gut, yammi. Dann kamen nacheinander die beiden Pizzen. Einmal die Carbonara mit Guanchale, Ei, Pecorino und schwarzem Pfeffer. Guter krosser Teig mit wirklich super wohlschmeckenden Auflagen. Dann hatten wir noch die Pizza mit salchicha, Speck und Schinken. Auch hier…Top krosser Teig mit wirklich lecker Auflage. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden im Restaurant Gioli, hatten einen schönen Abend bei gutem Wein und nettem Service und werden in unserem Urlaub auf Fuerteventura sicher nochmal wieder kommen.
