L'Aperipizza Costa Calma — Restaurant in Pájara

These guys know about real Italian pizzas! Going to Fuerteventura you wouldn't expect to find excellent pizzas, that's why we were so positively surprised by the ones we ate at l'Aperipizza. The place doesn't look specially appealing, nothing like those fancy restaurants with a lot of decorum which often prove to be the perfect tourist traps. The restaurant sits in a semi-closed terrace, therefore it can be a good idea to take a warm sweater if you dine there during the winter season. It never gets freezing cold, but can feel a bit chilly when the wind is blowing. When we sat down we were welcomed by a smiling and cheerful guy who quickly handed over the menus. They have a large selection of pizzas and calzone, served in regular or maxi size. I can say that the regular size is already quite large and should fill even the most empty stomachs. We have been to Costa Calma for a week now and we have been to this place 3 times already!! Each time we have come here we have tried something different (Pizza, Burgers and The House Speciality) and each time we have come to the conclusion that we have just had the ABSOLUTE best Pizza, Burgers and Fries EVER! The food is sensational, out of this world! Everything is made fresh daily by the owner/chef! The staff is extremely friendly and kind. On the first day we made a mistake on our order (100% our fault). We don’t eat pork, we ordered a large pizza with pork in it inadvertently, they made sure we had a different pizza and not for one second made us feel bad about OUR mistake. We went here yesterday on recommendation and actually walked passt it twice. We couldn't believe that this was actually the right place! After going against our better judgement we went in and checked the menu, and sure enough.. we were at the right place! So we sat down and ordered our pizza and drinks.. I rounded it all off with a good old cheese cake!

In fact the only thing not holding up to standard here is the location and seating! Everything thing els checks out! Pizza, cold drinks and a great desert are probably unmatched in Costa Calma!
