Restaurante Os Carrisos FG — Restaurant in Padrón

Just came from Tasca Tapica Os Carrisos. I would never ever return. I chose the dish recommended by our waiter which was dreadful. Over cooked beef on the bone, floating in oil and crisp potato slices which were stuck together and soggy. I didn't eat it and was not offered a different dish nor was it taken from the bill after I told waiter it was not good. My two sons ordered bass which was also over cooked and bland, my other son ordered ribs which to be fair were fine (but who can't cook ribs?) Whilst walking the camino over the past week we have had excellent food and I have taken the time and trouble to write reviews which recommend restaurants so others can enjoy their experience on the camino.

When staying in Padron I would suggest DO NOT VISIT THIS...

We came upon this restaurant rather randomly as we were walking around the city and ordered the Wagyu burgers. We asked if they could be cooked to 'medium' and our server made a face at us, so we just went with what the kitchen did. Unfortunately they were super rare and we really didn't enjoy them (please note that we are not afraid of raw food and enjoy carpaccio, tartare, etc). The bottle of wine we ordered was very good and we enjoyed the people watching from our outside table. You'll have to decide for yourself if this is the right...

Vaya por delante que entré nada convencida porque íbamos con dos niñas y me parecía el lugar menos indicado para ello pero debo admitir que no fue mala decisión. El local da a dos calles y nos llevaron a la terraza que da al parque de juegos (que además está vallado). Cuando acabaron de comer, allá que fueron. Las raciones son normales (para una persona) Las fotos son del pollo empanado y de la ensalada con gambas. Estaba riquísima. Lo de gambas me hizo reír porque son dos langostinos, literalmente: dos. Pero estaba riquísima. Dos ensaladas, el pollo empanado, tres panecillos (éramos cuatro) y un agua de km 0 (podéis mirar en internet qué es esa marca) fueron 35€.

Es un lugar al que sin duda volveremos si se tercia. El personal no tiene inconveniente en recordarte lo de la mascarilla. Limpian, desifectan y mantienen a los clientes bien separados. Cumplen con las limitaciones de aforo escrupulosamente (pude ver y escuchar como emplazaban a una familia a esperar 20 minutos porque lo tenían completo habiendo mesas libres).
