This is the best place to eat in Padrón. We came here straight from the Camino and had a fabulous lunch: beans, tortilla espanola, padrón peppers and artichoke along with a perfect natural red wine. So when we wondered where to go to dinner it became apparent quite quickly: come back to A Filoxera. This was also the first recommendation from a well known local. We had the burrata tomato salad (wonderfully juicy) and the cod sashimi. Grateful for the delicious food and such a wonderful friendly service.
One suggestion for the future: it would be great if water wasn’t served in single use bottles. I will gladly pay for filtered water in multi use glass bottles.

The waitress asked what we were drinking then disappearing so we helped ourselves to menus. She brought us our wine and beer and left again.
