Holy Mary. The best pizza I've ever had outside or inside of Italy. This place is an absolute triumph. From the moment we entered the staff were laughing and joking and friendly. We were given free olives which were fantastic and instantly we knew we were in for a treat. Some free croquettes followed, also delicious. The wines were €3.50 per glass and excellent value at twice that price. We were recommended to have two starters and share a pizza which turned out to be spot on. (Because the starters are really something special) The aubergine starter was totally original for me. I can imagine revolutions starting and huge political shifts happening because of this dish, the powdered tomato on top... What a touch! The pizza was sobrassada and goats cheese with honey. A great combination and something only possible in Catalonia, distinctive, exquisite and totally of this land. What more can you ask? More wine, Rum Baba dessert and some help calling a taxi. Top service all round and a wonderful...

TIMO, en mayúsculas.

"Cocina italo-ampurdanesa", "Harinas orgánicas de molino de piedra", "Masa de fermentación lenta", "Estiramos las pizzas una a una", "Les pedimos comprensión si a veces tardamos un poco en servirles las pizzas". ¿Suena bien, no? Pues empecemos. Nos apetecía pizza y optamos por el menú, de casi 30 euros por persona, porque la denominada pizza "de autor " estaba incluida en el citado menú. Los entrantes bien, si más, pero después de una larga espera, que aguantamos estoicamente ya que estábamos avisados de que podían tardar, llegaron dos pizzas CRUDAS. Ni harina, ni molino, ni fermentación lenta, lo que está crudo está crudo, aquí, en Roma, en Pekín, en Manila o en Arkansas. Puro chicle imposible de tragar. Los ingredientes "de autor" consistían en cuatro hojas de albahaca, unos diez tomates cherry partidos por la mitad y mozzarella flotando entre agua y aceite. Llegados a este punto, os recuerdo que este engendro culinario forma parte de un menú de casi 30 euros, les digo que pasen mi pizza por el horno y me dicen que no, que la masa, que bla bla bla y me hacen otra, que para disimular la "crudez" viene quemada por los bordes e igual de incomible por el centro. Consumo y trago lo que puedo. Se eterniza la espera para retirar los platos y pedir postre. Seguramente viendo que habíamos dejado más de la mitad del engrudo en el plato temían nuestra reacción. Decidimos levantarnos y pedir la cuenta, pasando del postre que quedaba pendiente. Tuvieron el morro de preguntar que había pasado y va y nos dice el camarero que no es culpa suya, que solo son dos en sala, que no es su problema. ¿ACASO ES EL MÍO? Señores, no intenten engañarnos con publicidad con ínfulas de alta cocina. Antes de eso repasen el techo de telarañas y quiten el polvo de los fluorescentes, contraten personal cualificado, que sirva una cerveza sin derramar...y que limpie el charco o cambie el mantel de papel. Sirvan también el vino a la temperatura adecuada. Si hubiera pedido el libro de reclamaciones quizás tendríais pronto una visita de sanidad y/o consumo. Para acabar, les diré que me he dejado otros aspectos lamentables para comentar, que lo haga o no depende de lo que lea en un futuro. Ustedes ya...

I visited this restaurant on a Monday and the thing is that I had to pay the holiday price, which was not a holiday at all. I paid 29.99 euros per person, which is a very high price for the food I received, which I could not eat. And the restaurant does not have a menu for children. I ordered a pizza for my child. My child took the first bite and said that it did not taste good and did not continue. I was so disappointed and upset that I felt angry that I paid a lot for such...

Very disappointing… We’ve been here several times before, but today’s visit was terrible! The mushroom croquetas didn’t come with the parmesan foam, there were no sugar-free sodas or juices, among other missing items. The pizza had too much tomato sauce which made it undercooked, spaghetti carbonara flavourless, not like usual. The service was awful — they rush through everything, drop things on the table and walk away, and before you even finish speaking, they’re already gone…

Decebedor restaurant italià: és essencialment una pizzeria (i tampoc memorable). Caríssima per la qualitat (que no és dolenta) en relació al preu (atenció: una pizza individual sense gluten amb formatge, pernil i ruca: 20€). L' albergínia alla parmeggiana: racció menys que individual i de recepta molt poc fidel a l'original italiana (era una mena de crema de trossos d'albergínia barrejats amb salsa de tomaquet i formatge). Els rigattoni amb tòfona i parmesà bons i prou, i per descomptat racció petita. La focaccia deliciosa i bé de preu. Les postres correctes: relació qualitat/preu estàndard (però no pas ajustada) Ambient: un menjador interior clònic de qualsevol local burguer modernet hipster, i a més molt sorollós. Però el jardí era pitjor: recordava el típic sopar de festa major de barri o poble petit, amb terra de grava, taules de fusta sense cap mena d'estovalles, i guirnaldes barates de llums blanques. Ah, malgrat tot, tant interior com exterior molt atapeït i sorollós, no apte per sopars íntims ... El servei, simplement correcte, però gens cordial. Per últim, malgrat que a l'entrada hi ha un únic cartell amb un menú del dia (que no especifica si és de matí exclusivament, amb la qual cosa -en absència de la carta penjada a fora- s'interpreta -erròniament- que a la nit hi ha menú (adjunto fotografia) En resum, car, pretenciós, sense personalitat, i molt sorollós. No hi tornarem.
