Ignore any review besides 5 stars for this restaurant. We went there after being referred by a local, and it was busy busy busy, but we found it so be incredibly friendly, helpful and absolutely delicious all 3 times that we ate there. We actually couldn’t bear anywhere else after several other failed attempts; we went back to Bitacora because their menu is diverse and changes daily. Also, the vibe. You have to accept that your waitron will come to you when she is able to, and soak in the vibe. Order the Syrah by the glass. Devour the mussels. Melt into the croquettes. Lick up the goats cheese cheesecake. You will absolutely, 100% want to come back, and watch the happy locals come day after day. Any of the grumpy reviewers who give this less than 5 stars are just having a bad day and can’t be taken as reviews of the actual situation. Go....

Been here twice and would definitely come here again! The staff is friendly and will find room for you however busy it is. The food is outstanding. A few classic Spanish dishes but also modern and Asian influenced dishes (my favorites were the spicy kimchi squid, honey roasted aubergine and homemade croquettes). The wine list is small but very affordable and many cocktails and other drinks are available (I recommend their take on the mojito with angostura bitters). The modern decor would suggest a “hipster” clientele however I saw families and all age...

Tapas with a real point of difference. Sadly some of the dishes had sold out which limited choice for us. Beef cheeks chicken and aubergine all great. Wines at a very reasonable price. One member of staff seemed a bit abrupt but did warm up. Pleased to get a table outside as it was very hot inside. Definitely recommend a visit and if you see a table free outside try and grab it, it won't be...

Really good tapas, the aubergine with honey was so delicious, and that egg with foie gras & iberico ham — as my friend said, was ‘the dish’. And even the bravas and pan con tomate, so simple but they made it so good. And dessert were also really yummy, wished our belly had more room for more food! Will come again to try other dishes :).
