A Reloxería — Restaurant in Palas de Rei

I chose to visit A Reloxeria after reading many positive reviews, hoping for a memorable experience. While the atmosphere was pleasant, I found the food quality didn't match the high expectations or the prices. My wife’s dish, for example, was lacking in seasoning, and the octopus I ordered tasted quite similar to pre-packaged options I've had before.

Additionally, I noticed a few service areas that could be improved. Our waiter didn’t check on us to see if we were enjoying our meal, even though some food was left on our plates.

Overall, while I can see the appeal that others might find here, my experience was mixed. Perhaps we came on an off night, but I would love to return and see if it better matches the glowing reviews on...

One of the best meals I’ve had on the Camino and in Spain. The food is incredibly flavorful, inventive, and ingredients extremely high quality and locally sourced. The service and ambiance are refined and intimate. The small but mighty staff who work here truly care and are so passionate about what they do. The meals here are also incredibly affordable if you’re on a finer dining budget (€25-35 runs you an excellent prix fixe that will leave you stuffed) and there is a full menu to choose from....

The food and service here are outstanding! I am walking the Camino (I am from Australia) and this is the best meal I have had in Spain. I had an amuse bouche of potatoes & chorizo broth then a tomato Gazpacho made with Galician tomatoes, followed by pork ribs & potatoes plus a delicious baked cheesecake with white chocolate.
