If you have half a day to spare waiting…This place is heavily understaffed. We order wine, beer, a toast, a cheese board and burgers. After over 1h wait we only had the wine and the beer and they hadn’t started cooking the meal (not even the cheese board), so we left. We’re walking the Camino. In every stop it’s hard to find the perfect spot to have a drink and a meal. In Palas De Rei, we found it. Casa Do Outeiro has an amazing view looking over the town, the food was very tasty, huge portions, drinks were great, prices were good and the staff very friendly. This was absolutely delicious. I‘m vegan and asked if they had something for me and the very nice women who waits and cooks there offered me vegan a chickpea/vegetable soup/stew that blew my mind. And she even offered me more after my dish was empty. My mom said here vegetarian pasta were perfectly aldente and also really really delicious.
