Piadina E Vino — Restaurant in Palma

Bad takeaway pizzas - Go to Amo Pizza 100m away instead. We had previously had takeaway pizzas from Amo to eat on the beach. We came back to do the same again but as Amo was closed we tried Piadina E Vino. The staff weren’t very friendly and seemed annoyed that we were trying to order takeaway pizzas even though they say it’s an option to takeaway? Pizzas were ready within 20 mins which wasn’t too bad. The pizzas however were extremely thin, similar to if you made a pizza with a tortilla base. The crust was so “crispy” that it was brittle. Making it extremely difficult to actually lift the pizza without it breaking everywhere. Because the base was so thin, the middle section containing the toppings quickly became heavy and soggy. This coupled with the brittle crust made the pizza extremely difficult to eat. Would recommend going to Amo pizza instead - same price and far...

When we arrived all the tables outside had reserved on them, other restaurants do this so that people cannot just drink outside in prime locations.

We explained that we wanted to eat and we were told we had to go inside as all the tables outside were reserved. We were seated inside in front of the kitchen which was extremely hot, service was poor and we waited ages for someone to take our order, eventually we had to call someone to take our drinks order, we felt ignored.

To be fair the food was tasty even though the portion size could have been a bit bigger.

At the time of leaving which was about an hour and a half later, there were still 4 tables outside that were empty so we could have quite easily have had one of those.

On a grey Sunday I had lunch here with my friend. We shared the avocado and prawn salad plus the calamari as starters. The white wine, pinot grigio, was excellent. For main course we both had the lasagna which was light and tasty,,, not swimming in bechamel sauce. For desert we had to try the tiramisu which was very good. The service was friendly and attentive,,,, but when the restaurant was full we waited a little bit. Well worth a visit. We will be...
