Embarrassing

It started off well, my sister and I ordered two beers and sat down at a table to enjoy the moonlight and sounds of the waves. About 15 minutes later, seats on the beach was available so we moved to occupy them. One of the waiters came with the bill for €10.50, which was strange as the night before we only paid €8.00 for the exact same drinks, not wanting to make a fuss I let it slide. We discussed going to see if there was another bar on the beach front and if it was not as nice as this one, we would return to Anchor Point. On the way out the waiter that we had settled the bill with was talking to the manager and pointed us out. The manager, very loudly said "you still owe us for two drinks" this made other customers turn and look at what was going on. We walked up to them and asked for an explanation. The waiter said that there were other drinks we did not pay for, luckily I had kept the bill and showed it to the manager. He understood straight away and told the waiter that he had given us the wrong bill as we only had two beers and in fact they were the ones that owed us money back. A group of us 7 recently ate here on our holidays. We ordered drinks which were fine and then food. A steak with veg came out and was not edible as the whole plate was covered in oil. We called the waiter and he took the plate and never came back or said anything to us. A child's carbonara also came out and was not edible as the eggs were completely scrambled. A burger was pink and chicken and chips seeping in grease, however, we did not complain about these. We asked for the bill and got charged for everything. When we questioned about the steak the owner of the restaurant was called. He was horrendous to deal with and got quiet angry towards us and said ' that's the way we cook our steak, if you don't like it don't order next time'. At this point we showed him the scrambled carbonara and he shrugged his shoulders and walked away. We paid our bill ( which was extremely overpriced)and left very upset and hungry. The drinks were good but overpriced. the waiters don't help the customers choose a table and then someone comes and says very rudely that you didn't choose the right table because it was reserved. and they DO NOT have reserved signs on the tables. we were squished 4 people at a table for two people. out of 5 dishes they forgot about two. when we reminded them of them (after 30mins), they said "oh haha im going to tell the cook to turn on the stove", not a single sorry or anything. the food was too expensive and too mediocre. in the end when we paid, the waiter just left without telling us bye or anything.

With this money you can eat much more and much better at other more beautiful...
