This place is not what it looks like, from the outside it looks good however, the problems all appeared when me and 2 friends sat on the table, to start off I asked for a soup which was okay and for 3 coca colas and we started drinking them when suddenly I go to look at my drink and it was gone but it still had drink in it, and my friend also noticed that his drink was not at the table too, so we go to ask the waiters and they went and got it from the kitchen and brought them to the table, which made us think that they were taking our drinks half full of the table in order for us to buy more drinks. At this point we were already confused but we decided to ask for the main dishes, and we asked for a 56€ tomahawk and an 24€ Angus entrecôte, however the waiter had another idea and he suggested us a “90 day maturated tbone” for the same price as the tomahawk, so we wanted to believe that it was a good suggestion, we could not be more wrong, he brought the tbone and the entrecôte to the table and the maturated tbone and it was awful, the meat was not good to be eaten, not to mention that an almost 1kg tbone for 2 Persons was complemented with 4 Single fried potato’s, which we then were sure that it must be a bad joke of sometime but no when the entrecôte arrived we realised that the plates only came with 4 fries, which the photos outside of the restaurant showed the plates with 30+ fries. We were pissed of, so we called the waiter and told him that the meat wasn’t good, the waiter smiled at us and hid in the kitchen and talked to another waiter, who came to ask us what happened, we told him that the meat was in fact not good, and we didn’t like their suggestion at all, and what we could do about it, he told that the only option was to pay for the food, then we told him that we wanted the reclamation book, which was when he refused to give it to was and said that he didn’t have it at the restaurant which in Spain is definitely a law to have it at the premises and give it when asked, he proceeded to say that we could only have it tomorrow and that the manager wasn’t there at the time and only tomorrow we could talk to him about it, when we heard that we said that we would call the police and he the waiter hid again in the kitchen and came back 5 minutes later telling that he wouldn’t need to pay for the meat. Read moreResulta que el otro día caí en la cuenta que con motivo de la pandemia llevaba casi dos años sin aterrizar por el Restaurante " la Bella Maria" en Pinos Genil, lugar del buen yantar, donde no hay mal lugar para saciarse con buenos manjares. He dicho aterrizar, si en términos de aviación, así es, porque La Bella Maria es una sinergia de lo tradicional y la innovación en pleno corazón de Sierra Nevada. De hecho y aunque pocos lo saben, en este enclave se dan cita todas las marcas del mundo del motor, y digo todas, durante los meses estivales, para poner a prueba sus máquinas, para posterior disfrute del resto de los mortales. Es muy posible que estés comiendo y coincidas con un piloto de Mercedes, Ferrari, Lamborgini o Renault entre otros. El mundo del motor estará siempre en deuda con Manuel , el anfitrión y visionario que supo ver más allá, de la miopía que a veces, nos caracteriza a los lugareños, el famoso cainismo español. Pues sí este lugar vanguardista y al mismo tiempo tradicional, bañado por una corriente continua de flujo de aire de Sierra Nevada, es un lugar idóneo tanto en invierno, por su luminoso y acogedor comedor, como en Verano por su terraza. Su personal, sin comentarios, amabilidad a juego con el constante aire que fluye de la Sierra. Y vamos con paladear, amplia carta renovada, me fijo en algo que llama mi atención , " El Tomahawk premium" 1.350 gr de carne mazerada en cámara. Vino reserva de la casa y .......... Un musical en toda regla en el buen sentido de los sentidos, una bomba en ka línea de flotación de nuestros sentidos, una explosión de proteínas para triunfo de lis paladares más exigentes, si esto en términos gastronómicos , si jugaramos a los barquitos, sería un tocado y hundido , para bien de nuestras partículas gustativas y ahí lo dejo.
