This is the first time I've reviewed a restaurant and I travel a lot around the world. Avoid this place as far as possible. I don't know where such good reviews come from. our meals were terrible. we ordered fried cheese, 2 portions of shrimp and 2 beef tenderloins. the cheese was good, the shrimps were brought in fat but they fell apart as if they had been thrown into the oven frozen, some shavings on the outside and cold and hard on the inside. for the main course we ordered 2 portions of beef tenderloin. what we got was not tenderloin and was not edible. We tasted the shrimps and tenderloins and gave them back, telling the waiter (using Google translator because no one in the restaurant speaks English and there is no English menu) that they were not good. we asked if it was beef tenderloin because the meat was more like an old and hard entrecote with veins inside. we asked for the bill. 82 euros, we didn't even want to discuss it and leave there as quickly as possible. A man came from the kitchen and wanted to say something in Spanish, but he was either drunk or on marijuana. bloodshot eyes, he was swaying and babbling. we were with our daughter so we left this place as soon as possible. avoid!!!

On a quiet Sunday night in December we visited this very well reviewed restaurant in the center of Puerto del Rosario and it was a shame to see only two other customers for dinner as the food we had was very good and the portion size was huge! 2 starters and the huge meat platter for 2 and a bottle of wine for less than €68 I thought was excellent value. We made light work of reading the Spanish menus with a bit of knowledge and Google translate and the non English speaking staff brought us over her phone with the English menus on there 😍 the décor was moden and all the seating well set out and comfortable. Would visit again if...

Worst Steak Experience at Al Gusto, Puerto del Rosario I recently visited Al Gusto and had one of the worst dining experiences. I was served a terrible steak—undercooked, tough, and tasteless. I sent it back to the kitchen, but when it returned, it was still just as bad. Unfortunately, hunger got the best of me, and I ate some of it, but I deeply regret not walking out and refusing to pay. If you’re looking for quality food, stay clear of this place.
