Playa de los Pozos o Playa Chica — Attraction in Puerto del Rosario

This is a lovely city beach. WC & open air shower on the beach. Some sheltered seating on the prominade. I found a shady spot beside the "punto limpio" (ie the bins) beside the WC (the joys of pale skin!). And sat on the decking to read out of the sun.

This is a beach in the middle of the town. There's traffic noise & some noise from the docks. But, in my opinion, it's still a lovely beach. Lovely clear water, with a gentle sandy slope into the water. Great for a dip & safe for smallies (bigger risk with the nearby road).

Plenty of shops & eateries nearby but due warning, most supermarkets & many restaurants /cafes are closed on a Sunday so plan around that.

There is a great bus service that loops around the town & costs...

Best beach in Fuertenventura. Crystal clean turquoise water, nice sandy beach and not too overcrowded. It is not very shallow, but still great to enjoy some swimming and just having fun in the water.
