Ca la Mati — Restaurant in Puigcerdà

I took only few tapas today but, honestly, all of them were extremely good. Especially the burrata salad was awesome -same quality you might expect in a top italian restaurant-.

The place has few tables and stands in the middle of the main square in town, so it van get a bit crowded.

Un muy buen lugar en el centro de Puigcerdà, 100% recomendable. Los entrantes de croquetas y alcachofas confitadas, riquísimos y unas bravas con una salsa genial que marca un muy buen comienzo. Seguimos compartiendo varios platos y ninguno se quedó atrás; la carne de la hamburguesa era de gran calidad, así como los canelones, esparragos y fricandó buenísimos. Acabamos con unos postres en el que para mi destacó la tarta de queso. Aparte de la cocina, el personal es muy agradable al trato, cada uno de ellos hace que la experiencia sea redonda, fuimos 5 con un bebé y nos cambiaron la mesa para que estuviéramos más cómodos con el carrito, fueron muy atentos en todo momento. La única pega que no tenían buñuelos que se habían acabado, asi que tuvimos que repetir al día siguiente para probarlos y todo arreglado. Valió mucho la pena. Un placer haber ido a este restaurante en todos los sentidos. No tenemos fotos porque nos centramos en comer y hablar...

Overpriced, small portions, you could feel the dishes where not fresh but were heated up in the microwave. The patatas bravas were not bravas but just french fries The parmentier was not great and the tatin was not with pie crust but with puff pastry :/
