It had a very high rating from other people so my partner and I stayed here. The room we had was small and the bathroom smelled fine because they had sprayed perfume or something but by nighttime it smelled bad and opening the window couldn't even quite get rid of the smell. When we flushed the toilet it made this groaning sound for around a minute after. Terrible air circulation in the room. Hot despite opening the window where it was chilly outside. Bed very old and creaky. Blanket smelled a bit like dog pee. Just not a good experience. Only good point was the location, it was very close to town and not far from the natural swimming pools.
No vamos a volver. La única cosa buena estaba la ubicación. Estaba cerca al pueblo y la piscina natural...
Read moreFriendly staff, good food. It's a bit outside the "urban center" right in front of the hiking trail that takes you to the monastery, natural pools, river, etc. There's a fairly big parking out back which is free. The man in charge really goes out of his way to help out. It's not a fancy hotel but if you want a rural feeling, near trees and forest and outside the city this place is perfect. It's very clean (the cleaning ladies clean daily). We stayed with our 3 yo daughter and had a room with three beds which we were able to put together into a huge bed. Bring your own amenities as there isnt much provided, I always do so that wasn't a problem for us. The lunch special was very good, and breakfast toast with ham and tomato, orange juice and coffee was great albeit a bit expensive for the area. Note that the restaurant wasn't open in the evenings while we stayed in July/August. The rooms don't have AC but we came in summer and to be honest the rooms are pretty cool even...
Read moreSmall hotel conveniently situated near Segovia and the mountains, great if you enjoy skiing and walking. Miguel made us feel very welcome, including our 2 small dogs. The room size is not huge, but certainly big enough without feeling cramped. The beds are comfortable, the heating worked well, and the shower is powerful, with plenty of hot water. And everything was spotlessly clean.||The breakfast is basic, but adequate, and there is plenty of parking. The hotel is about 500m away from the village, which has a number of bars and cafes, so finding somewhere to eat in the evening should not be difficult. The hotel does not serve evening meals.||Overall it is a great budget hotel. We’d have no hesitation in returning when next...
