Restaurante El Boliche — Restaurant in Rincón de la Victoria

The restaurant is situated on the beach promenade and has a beautiful view of the water. We ordered a mojito and it was delicious. The pina colada was a little strong for us though! Cocktails were a decent price of 6€ (mojito) and 6.50€ (pina colada). The restaurant has some selection of veggie and vegan options, so we ordered the vegan hamburger. We didn’t know it came with fries so we ordered extra fries, except it came out as a starter! €8.00 for fries is extremely expensive and we didn’t get a lot included really. The mayo was garlic filled and was a nice surprise - but if you don’t like garlic, maybe get the ketchup! The burger came with fries too (we wish they told us, because by that point we were a bit full from them!). We felt they didn’t tell us either from a lack of knowledge of the menu or they wanted to make more money. The vegan hamburger was very good and felt fresh. However, if they put sauce on the burger / mayo, it wasn’t noticeable and it was way too dry. I had to keep adding more mayo on so I could even swallow it. I was so happy to find this place on the Paseo because of the different variety of breakfast options. However, being gluten intolerant I cannot enjoy them as they don’t stock gluten-free bread. I’ve mentioned it to them various times but they seem unwilling to assist. It’s not that difficult to buy frozen rolls and keep them till a customer orders one, surely? Also - the decaff coffee is awful. I’ve ordered it several times in the hopes that the last bad cup was a one-off, but they remain weak and watery. Dinner options are good though.. Come guys, do something about your coffee and the gluten-free options and you’ll get more 5 star...

Tiene unas buenas reseñas pero no puedo hacer lo mismo. Pedimos agua con gas y nos traen una botella abierta con todo lo que eso conlleva. Cuando le preguntamos nos dicen que las botellas son rellenadas, que ellos lo hacen así sin avisar ni reflejarlo en la carta. Alucinante. Menuda asquerosidad para un establecimiento público. Ah! Y a 2,5 euros. Qué cada cual saque sus conclusiones.

Respuesta al comentario: Lo primero, es que deberías explicitarlo en la carta, si es tan bueno ¿por qué no lo pones? Continuando, ¿con qué agua la has rellenado? Qué mínimo saber la marca del agua del relleno. A 2,5 euros ya te vale. Una botella de 1,5 litros se puede comprar por 0,4 cts. Si las botellas reutilizables son de 0,5 litros puedes rellenar 3 veces. Está bien el beneficio, de 0,40 a 7,5 euros. Todo por el medio ambiente. ¿Tengo que fiarme de cómo haces el rellenado? Lo podías hacer delante del cliente, qué menos. En esta línea, ¿tengo que fiarme, dado su interés reciclar por el medio ambiente, que no recicle también el agua sobrante de comandas ? ¿Como desinfectas la botellas? ¿Pudiera ser que algún cliente bebiera de la botella, botella que se reutiliza, y no estuviera bien desinfectada para el próximo cliente? Así podría seguir un buen rato pero y seguiría pensando lo mismo, menuda asquerosidad. Viajo mucho y no he encontrado hoteles que hagan esto. Qué pongan jarras y tú las rellenas sí pero no lo que vosotros hacéis. No todo vale bajo el paraguas del medio ambiente. Voy a informarme sobre si Sanidad permite esto. ¿Prohibió las botellas rellenables de aceite y permite las de agua? Raro, raro. Por último, tengo otra duda, ¿que más reciclais en nombre del medio ambiente y no figura en la carta...
