Excellent place for breakfast. Always heaving with locals, for good reason. For 2 euros one can have a great coffee and an enormous piece of toast or "mollete" (oval shaped bread) with homemade "tomate" (fresh tomato jam) and virgen olive oil. Or you can have butter and marmalade, jam if you don't fancy the traditional Spanish spreads. If you think toast and coffee won't fill you up then think again. Here it will. Loved this place. So authentic! I think we were the only non-Spaniards in there. We had breakfast about 9:30 am and the place was full and bustling with people. Our waitress was quick, helpful and attentive. Me recomendaron ir a tomar algo dulce. Buen desayuno, mejor merienda.. lo cierto es que La Rondeña no defrauda. Aceptable café y surtido de buenos pasteles de todo tipo, bizcochos y hoja. Cremas dulces y suaves. Tostadas.. Llama la atención que, a pesar de estar retirada de la zona netamente comercial de Ronda, tiene bastante clientela y es algo que se explica fácilmente por su carta dulce. Por poner alguna pega, el servicio de los pasteles es algo simple. Puestos de cualquier forma en un plato, se pierde parte del encanto de un sitio para golosos y amantes del dulce.
