Ona Beach Bar — Restaurant in Roses

I come to this place tonight because I walk through it each day and I was ayteacted by the decoration and good music. First it's a place to take a drink and you can eat too tapas, salads and some plates. I was hungry so I've tried the veggie burger and chips. The veggie was correct - maybe it will be perfect with tomatoes, pickles or other fresh vegetables. The "verde" cocktail was fresh and good. But the fries wasn't homemade, dried and too fried. For the décoration it feels cool but it's not à place to relax. The service is easy going and quick. The staff ok but not more. And the music sounds really good. We actually visited this funky little beach side bar twice - first early lunch time (cheeky, I know) and later in the evening when the place was busy. Both times the service was prompt and friendly. The cocktails were on the high side for my budget so I opted for Sangria that looked and tasted superb. The beer drinks of our party were satisfied as well and so was our dog who was kindly offered water by the staff. Good location for beach goers and nice atmosphere, even on a cool and windy Thursday when we were there. I personally really liked the funky Hawaï/beach hut/tropical look too. We were really enjoying our meal at Ona. the food was delicious, and we were having a great time. However, after just 1.5 hours, we were asked to leave because the next guests were already waiting for our table. We still had drinks on the table and weren’t finished yet, but they told us there was no space available inside either.

Personally, I find this very disrespectful. Being rushed out like that completely ruined the experience. When you go out for a nice dinner, you expect to be able to enjoy it at your own pace, not be treated like you’re on a strict timer.
