To start, there was way too much florescent light. We sat upstairs, which should have had an awesome view of the bay, but the lighting was so bad, and the glass wall was such that all we saw was a reflection of ourselves.

The best course was the smoked scallops appetizer. I thought the tuna tartar was average but my wife thought it was too fishy. The paella came in a cart (huge plus from us) but it was very earthy and savory and a bit too salty for our taste.

Now, to the service. It left a lot to be desired. We started by being given a testing menu, agreeing to do that, then told it wasn't available. We ordered cava when we sat down but it didn't arrive until we were nearly done with our appetizer. The bread was delivered half way through the meal. The wine glasses were never removed, although we didn't start by ordering wine and then I did order wine to have with the main course but it didn't arrive until after the course was plated, from the cart.

We went here as a last minute decision when we saw it passing by… It didn’t really look like much from the outside. When we went in the restaurant the first thing I noticed was the dirty windows which made it look a little shabby. However the upstairs is where the official restaurant is and a little better in cleanliness.. We ordered lots of starters and appetizers. They were amazing. I’ve never had mackerel like it! In fact we ordered two portions it was so good. The service was excellent, the waiters and waitresses spoke English, French and Spanish, Catalan. They were attentive and polite. The price wasn’t very expensive considering the quality...

We are celiac's. We called before we came to explain. We were told no problem. On arrival we were told the Kitchen was contaminated. They said they would make something on the grill. So we are took that option. Mostly because we didn't think we would find another option. The food was ok. But they have an amazing location. We felt it didn't live up to what we expected.
