I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Italiano Tuscana, and I must say it was an exceptional culinary experience. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming Italian eatery captured the essence of Tuscany with its warm ambiance, attentive service, and, most importantly, its delectable cuisine.
To start off, I ordered the Bruschetta as an appetizer, and it was a fantastic choice. The bread was toasted to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh basil, and a drizzle of high-quality olive oil, each bite was bursting with vibrant flavors. The combination of the ingredients was well-balanced, and it was a delightful way to awaken my taste buds.
Next up was the lasagna, a classic Italian dish that Tuscana truly mastered. The layers of pasta were perfectly cooked and generously filled with a rich, flavorful meat sauce and creamy béchamel. Each forkful was a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, leaving me craving for more. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying and fulfilling main course option.
Moving on to the salmon ravioli, I was thoroughly impressed by the delicate balance of flavors in this dish. The ravioli pillows were filled with a creamy salmon mixture that was both luscious and light. The pasta itself was tender and cooked to perfection, and the accompanying sauce was a harmonious combination of butter, herbs, and subtle hints of citrus. It was a truly memorable dish that showcased the expertise of the chef.
Lastly, I indulged in the shrimp gnocchi, and it exceeded my expectations. The gnocchi was pillowy soft, yet still had a delightful bite, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection, succulent and flavorful. The sauce was a delightful blend of garlic, tomatoes, and white wine, perfectly complementing the tender gnocchi and plump shrimp. It was a true testament to the artistry of Italian cuisine.
Throughout my dining experience at Ristorante Italiano Tuscana, the service was impeccable. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a touch of elegance that added to the overall dining experience.
In conclusion, Ristorante Italiano Tuscana is a gem of an Italian restaurant. From the delectable Bruschetta to the mouthwatering lasagna, salmon ravioli, and shrimp gnocchi, every dish showcased the authentic flavors of Italy. If you're looking for a memorable dining experience that combines exceptional cuisine, attentive service, and a charming ambiance, Ristorante Italiano Tuscana should be at the top...

The restaurant is 100 meters away on the plaza which is also where we checked-in. Ristorante Italiano Tuscana has an extensive menu of antipasti, pastas, meat dishes, desserts, and a full bar. They have an indoor, air-conditioned dining room and tables outdoors on the plaza. The food was very good, the portions appropriate, and the prices fair. We ate there twice and enjoyed our meals along with their resident dog, Rocco, who was very sweet, lingering near outdoor diners, but not begging or being a nuisance at all.
The first night we had l'insalata caprese €8 and tortelli 4 formaggi ai burro e salvia €15 for my wife and the lasagna bolognese €10 for me along with a bottle of water with gas and a liter of sangria €12. My lasagna was delicious and HUGE, but my wife's tortelli had not been properly drained, watering down the rich butter and sage sauce, but my wife still enjoyed it.
On the subsequent evening, we forewent the starter, my wife ordering the tagliatelli con funghi €10, me the spaghetti carbonara, and sharing the cotoletta alla milanese €12, a bottle of water and two glasses of house red wine. All were very tasty, especially the carbonara which was prepared in the traditional way by adding egg yokes just before serving with plenty o' pepper ... HOOAH!
Our dinners, a starter, main and wine/water ran around €50, not bad for good meal for two, so Ristorante Tuscania was a definite TravelValue.
