This is a hidden gem in the town of Sa Pobla. A town house that holds a wonderful secret behind the front door. A beautiful intimate restaurant with tasting menu. On arrival there is home made bread, houmous, allioli and olives with a glass of chilled cava. Cristina and her team then tell you about the seven courses they will be serving you. The food is delicious, presentation excellent. The staff are very unobtrusive yet so friendly and you have plenty of time between each course to relax and enjoy the ambience of this restaurant. If you want a quick meal don't come here as this is a restaurant for enjoying good quality food at a leisurely pace. There is a very good wine list with locally produced wines from around the island. The decor of this beautiful restaurant is an eclectic mix with art work from a local artist. Many of the pieces of art are also for sale. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys fine dining in a...

If you have not tried Mare Nostrum we would urge you to do so - it is without doubt the best restaurant we know in Mallorca and we have been sampling restaurants here for over 30 years. ...

Already planning our return with family. Sa Pobla didn't seem particularly exciting, but for this restaurant it's definitely worth the visit, you won't be disappointed. (Update Dec 19 - just been for my 3rd visit for my wife's 40th and again the food didn't disappoint, lovely and cosy setting this time inside by the fire and fabulously friendly and attentive staff. This restaurant still sits as my top pick of set menu restaurants on the island - keep up the...
